Definitely works. Didn't lose the sweet sound of a 5in straight pipe on a 6.0 powerstroke but it Definitely got rid of the drone noise in the cab at highway speeds

I have a 2012 Ford super duty 6.7l with a 5" straight pipe. It was loud and gnarly turbo whistle. This thing made it much more quiet inside the cab at all RPM ranges. Can have a conversation. Still kept the straight pipe sound. Much more quiet outside as well. I was anticipating the need to have two but I'm satisfied with just the one. No loss of power either

Was easy to install,ordered two 5in band clamps also from amazon,already had 5in exhaust pipe on truck, just cut in place and band together, it kept original sound and made it quite at crusind speeds, it does fit over 5in pipe,would only suggest using band clamps not uclamps.

Put the 30 inch muffler on a 2005 5.9 cumins that was originally straight piped. Neighbors hate me a little less now. Takes the bite out, now it's not obnoxiously loud just loud.I welded it and also used existing clamps. Used a long sazaw blade to cut off section for the muffler. YouCould get away with using just clamps.
