Vango Air Pump, Phantom, One Size

Good height and slides easily so that's good. I had other pumps and bought this mostly for the inline pressure gauge but found out that the gauge is absolute rubbish:- When at rest (after inflating), it shows 1+ PSI.- When it shows 3 PSI, my two Sevylor pressure gauges show 1.3-1.4 PSI.- When it shows 10+ PSI, my Sevylor pressure gauges show about 7 PSI.Also, the H-Valve adaptor did NOT work on my Sevylor SK100DS kayak (standard H-Valve) - it goes in but the clips are too shallow and it does not clip into place (can't be rotated to clip into place). I had to use some older adapters from my other pumps.Two stars, only because the inflating process felt easier than on my older pumps.

Not quite what it says on Amazon. The Amazon description says "alloy" pump. Only the shaft is alloy. The casing is plastic. The feet are plastic. However it does work. Also includes air pressure gauge. Pumps up all manner of things including tent, paddling pool etc. Comes with series of adaptors. Also has deflator mode to suck all air out-handy.

Bought it to blow up air awning for caravan.Good points - It’s lightweight and inflates things quickly. The gauge is a handy addition.Not so good points - occasionally the hose/ gauge detaches from the pump when you are trying to push handle down to inflate. The quick release mechanism for the hose is a little too quick! This might be because it’s new and all coated with a layer on oil!A bit more expensive than others but it should last.

I bought a full spec whitewater inflatable. It’s a great bit of kit but a raft pump is over £100.!Bought this after reading the reviews. Excellent pump.Lightweight and effective.The quality isn’t fantastic it has bits that will easily break but if you store it well and use it carefully it’s a fantastic pump for the money.

I bought this for a SUP, as indicated in the description. It wasn't terribly clear about valve fittings and on receipt of the product, the fitting is slightly different from the one that we needed and is therefore no use to us. However, we are unable to return the product as the seller doesn't provide a returns service that includes postage and with it being a large parcel, it is an expensive postage. Of the description was clearer, we wouldn't have purchased it, and if the returns policy had been clearer, I wouldn't have purchased it. Beware - and make sure you absolutely know the valve fits as returning this product is expensive!

Im not happy with pump. Adaptors are useless, the same set as with any other cheap chinese pump - adaptor is too big for small inflatables with standard size vents, it expands vent so closing doesnt hold.Metal is just inside, all casing is basic plastic.Its too long, it takes too much spaceDouble action doesnt work for me, pumping when lifting it up isnt comfortable for me. And I have to work much harder, because abs have to work hard when pulling it up, not just gravity and body weight pushing it down. Its faster and less energy consuming to pump inflatable with smaller basic pump.Overall very disappointed...

Bought this for our inflatable kayak - its great! The size is big enough to make pumping things up a breeze (we can do our kayak in about 10 minutes!) but small and light enough to be portable. Haven’t used the pressure gauge (used the one with the kayak) so can’t comment on that.

Great pump to use for an airframe tent , but watch the pressure gauge because it doesn't work like a tyre pump gauge . When you reach the desired pressure , stop pumping , because the non return valve in the airframe tube prevents air pressure feedback , so you won't get a true reading .
