Baby nails are sharp. Like, velociraptor sharp. Further, babies are wiggly. Like, baby wiggly. Needless to say, getting them to hold still for a nail clipping session is precarious. And you'll never hear the end of it if you clip those nails too close to the quick. That's what makes these nail filers so great! No fear of cutting too close, or otherwise hurting baby's fingers/toes. This unit in particular has both the electric file and the traditional clippers on opposite ends. Also included at both ends are convenient LED lights, so you can easily see what you're doing. In the box are an assortment of files, which are color coded for various ages, and a couple of harsher metal files for adult nails. There's even replacement pads (peel-&-stick) for the baby files should they wear out, and the unit itself has a storage compartment preloaded with more replacements. The unit charges quickly with the included (or any other) USB C cord, and lasts plenty long enough on each charge. For your little one's nails, this unit is an excellent choice. Recommended!

Great nail filer. Wish I had boughten it sooner. I have 4 kids. Finally bought it for my 4th and it’s made trimming baby nails so much easier!

I've had a few different electric nail trimmers before, and I really like some of the features that this one has that others did not. I like that there is a compartment right on the trimmer to hold the 5 other filing heads that are not being used. The lighted manual nail clipper built into the other end of the trimmer is also handy. This trimmer charges via a USB-C cord, which is super handy since I have a bunch of USB-C charging cords already for various other devices. A charging cord is included, but it's nice to know that I don't have to keep track of a specific cord to charge this trimmer. As claimed in the listing, this trimmer is indeed very quiet. This works very well with filing my own nails, and I would definitely use it for a baby so that I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally clipping too far with manual clippers.
