I've been buying Garden of Life Ultimate Care at our local nutrition store. This is a 34 strain probiotic, the MOST strains I've been able to find anywhere. Not only are they important for every day gut health, the probiotics are PROVEN effective for dealing with irritated bowels. We also use Quercetin which is the calming agent commonly found in organic apples as a natural anti-histamine to further calm the intestines. The winning combination also uses Jarrow Formulas Saccharomyces Boulardii + MOS. If you are looking at Ultimate care then you are already familiar with the concept of beneficial bacteria. The SB + MOS from Jarrow Formulas is basically a probiotic FUNGUS which also helps to repair the intestinal colony of microorganisms. MOS is comparable to d-mannose for UTIs in which the bad bacteria tends to cling to MOS or mannose and is flushed out naturally during elimination. This is important because KILLING the bacteria inside the intestines releases additional TOXINS which can quickly become fatal especially in severe cases of C. Diff. Instead, the MOS helps to FLUSH the living bacteria out without further overburdening the body with yet more toxins unnecessarily. Other beneficial ways to help the intestines includes eating organic apples, turmeric, ginger, onions, bananas, etc. We found a great calming food is to mash 1 banana with 2 eggs, scramble with a bit of turmeric and paprika, then serve with some coconut oil instead of butter or margarine, warmed apples slices and cinnamon on top along with a bit of Now Brewer's Yeast sprinkled on top like Parmesan cheese. A light dash of real maple syrup can be added for flavor, if needed. This is a GREAT breakfast meal for when taking Ultimate Care Probiotics ! For best results ALWAYS STORE PROBIOTICS IN THE FRIDGE or at least under 71F ! The label states no binders, fillers, carriers, artificial colors nor preservatives.

Good product

I have been taking Primal Defense Ultra for quite a while and used GOL products for at least 10. Their probiotic line is the best on planet earth, bar none. I had a friend who raved about the RAW line and was curious, so I tried them. However, we all know they are pricey to say the least. I purchased one bottle of the RAW probiotics (colon care) at the store but of course checked Amazon and decided to give them a shot. Because we have had cold weather where I live, I was not all that bothered by the shipping process, but emailed the shipper about their location to see what their local temps would be. I promptly received a reply and they said that they are located in Georgia and that their local temps would not leave the 50s. They also said that the probiotics are actually manufactured at a dose higher than what is said on the bottle, to accomodate shipping processes. That said, I think I will stock up to carry me through the summer and save $$$. These work great! I have noticed more regular bowel movement in just a few days. I feel more energetic as well. Being on antibiotics twice in a year due to an infected root canal really wreaked havoc on my digestion and regularity to say the least. So glad I gave these a try and would definitely recommend them.

Good product i use daily

This is a great product, it is. While I haven't been seeing as spectacular results as other users have reported, which is likely due to the fact that, one, I'm not taking enough, and, two, I'm probably in much poorer health than about half the users, it's still keeping my gut in check. I know that much for certain. Honestly, that's a miracle in its own right, to me anyway. That said, I'd show no restraint, in recommending this to someone, except for when it comes to the aspect of shipping. Granted, it is, in part, not the seller's fault. I just want to let that be clear. Sure, it'd be nice of them to provide better, faster methods for the same price, but that's obviously not feasible, which I can understand. Back on point, yes, with the weather being what it is (late summer, very early fall - 80 degrees and humid, at the time of purchasing this), I wouldn't bother, unless you are willing to drop a few extra dollars on at least priority mail, or, by some stroke of luck, live near one of the sellers. I wouldn't trust the quality, after it sitting in the heat for days, especially if your health really depends on the stuff. Really though, you never know, we could do everything, and, still, the shipping entity could muck things up. In my case, MegaVits got this out early, early the next day, and it arrived in my state around 24 hours later, if that, at the sorting facility, which is just a couple hours away. So, that said, I expected it the next day, in the morning, as most things usually come the next day, when they've arrived there. But, nope, it's now going on two days later, which sucks. I can't help but feel like I'm out $70 and/or risking my health by using compromised probiotics. UPDATE: Now, what's more than a week later, it turns out that my package mistakenly was sent to Massachusetts, halfway across the country. So, knowing that the product would definitely be in poor condition, due to being exposed to the heat for so long, I contacted MegaVits about it, hoping they might be able to do something about it for me, and they did. Issue resolved. Highly recommended seller. TLDR; good product, just make sure you get it to your home and in the fridge ASAP.

Ever since I have started using Garden of Life probiotics, my digestion and intestinal health has improved. Foods that used to bother me (such as cooked onions, no longer bother me.) I used to get significant acid reflux and that has stopped. I no longer have to take Lansoprazole - haven't taken one in months. I started my road to digestive health by taking a tablespoon of raw honey with a tablespoon of organic cider vinegar in a cup of hot water once a day. After a couple of weeks, taking that and probiotics, I stopped the honey and vinegar. Once in a while if I feel a little indigestion (once a month or so,) I'll take the honey and vinegar, but never any more than once. This has been my experience.

Please don't buy it waste of money ......
