When it comes to my firearms and ammunition storage, I'm a little bit of a fanatic when it comes to quality. I received this and it met all my expectations. It is good quality, sturdy, and precisely meets my needs. Won't hesitate to buy this again when needed. I use my shotgun very sporadically so I can't attest to the longevity. That's the ONLY reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five. I don't like when people post a five star review for a product they haven't yet used it its entirety. Those aren’t helpful in my opinion.

Fits securely on my Savage Axis II and holds 10 cartridges of 6.5 Creedmoor. Installed without having to remove the scope--a bit of effort required to slide on over the back of the buttstock. It is rectangular, rather than fitted, so the front is just a little loose, but not problematic. Had to punch a small hole for the rear sling mount--also not a problem. Would buy again for other rifles.

Actually holds ( 6 ) 12 guage shells . Went on easily, good product

it works but is kinds loose on my single shot .22, figured it being made for a .22 it would hug a little more than it did, still functional just not exactly what I was needing unfortunately. Will be using on my other .22 rifle and finding another option for my single shot. All in all not a bad purchase and the materials are durable and will definitely hug your rifle tight as long as your buttstock is larger

Good on my little lever gun with some DIY. See pics. This will cover some carbines sling stud. Just put in on and see where the stud sits. Take a very sharp knife and make a tiny little slit. Push the stud through then take a lighter to burn any loose nylon/elastic and to keep it from running. Then you can still use a rifle sling in thay stud. Be aware that modifying this in such a way could void any sort of warranty provided.

Nice snug fit on Mauser M12 extreme with no gaping at the front. 300 win mag bullets will fit with a squeeze so nice and secure.
