Sunbeam Bread Maker Machine Heavy Duty Drive Belt for Model 5891 (New) 5891-33

When my Sunbeam bread maker that was a gift from my mother from about 10 years ago quit mixing mid cycle, I was very sad. I love that thing. Anyhoo. As I was looking at new ones I wondered if I could fix mine. And the answer was yes. Yes I could fix it myself. So after carefully taking apart my machine I confirmed my suspicions that the belt had broken. I was so happy to find I could still order a belt for it. It came and fit perfectly! Now I am happily making bread and pizza dough again at a fraction of the cost of a new machine.

Got my bread machine up and running smoothly

I did not like how much work is involved in finding the spindles that hold the existing belt. I do like the perfect fit and function of this belt. Once you remove all the screws, pull the basket, basket liner, remove those screws and finally get access to the under portion, it's a snap to put on. Not a beginner task. I am very pleased to have my breadmaker working like new again. The previous belt was down to a single strand of nylon with all of the rubber gone. We'll see how long this one lasts.

This was just what the bread machine need to come back to life. It is still going strong two years later. Since the Sunbeam 5891 is almost all analog, taking it apart to fix it is fairly easy. There are good videos to show you what to do.

Purchased this belt to fix my Sunbeam bread machine and so far, it has held up well. No signs of wearing out or breaking yet. Plus, I feel the price for it was very reasonable.
