Beautiful designs by Kaffe Fassett, with clear instructions on how to reproduce them and also lots of encouragement to use them with other fabrics of our own choosing. As Kaffe says, the options are limitless. The photography within the book shows off the quilts perfectly. I could'nt be happier.

Superb book bought as a present for an already talented quilt maker who really loved it.

As always Kaffe’s books are full of fabulous photographs that should inspire any quilter. This one doesn’t disappoint.

Nothing you can say bad about his books designs great. Just needs lots of time and money for material.

The content of the book is excellent as you would expect from the author. Unfortunately, the book itself is either second-hand or has been poorly stored. It seems to have been kept in a damp environment. The outside cover is warped and does not lie flat. The pages are equally warped with some pages folded. It is a well thumbed copy. I paid for a new book. It is for me so I will put up with it when I should return it and hope there is another in stock. Clearly o quality control before it was posted. Disappointed.

I love to look through books that have lots of stimulating pictures! It energizes me and makes me want to get started on a new project and gives me ideas of how things that are works of art by themselves can work together to make an even more visual impact! The pictures in Kaffe Fassett's Quilts in an English Village are stunning and interesting as well as the quilts that have been created from the esthetic of the buildings in the village. I now look for ideations from the things that are in every place I go. I have even started to keep a journal in both pictures taken on my phone and sketch interesting things in a little spiral notebook that fits in my purse!

Beautiful photos and instructions for gorgeous quilts. I haven't made any, but I did a little search and found some of the same fabrics can be purchased online.

His he does it I’ll never know his colours and ways of displaying his beautiful quilts and fabrics is mesmerizing.

The book is exactly as advertised .. be warned, there are some errors in the patterns thrmselves in the book .. check online for errors in this book so you won't be frustrated when trying to pit these beautiful patterns together!
