I'm the type of person that does not like chewing anything that I consider a drink, so having ground flax is very convenient. I use this in my smoothies/protein shakes to add more fiber in my diet. You can't even tell it's in there...👍🏾

Flaxseed is an excellent source of good fat and fiber. Used at night it can provide bowel relief by morning. I read that the vitamins and fat in the flaxseed are better absorbed ground and with yogurt. I enjoy the flaxseed with yogurt as well as on salads, in Trim healthy Mama recipes, in smoothies and in cereal. If you have never tasted flaxseed you may think there isn't much of a flavor, I find it to be a little bit nutty. When eating something with flaxseed in it, I note more of the texture difference than I do a taste difference. I have been told one tablespoon per 100 lbs of weight is a good starting dose for your daily fiber. In the past I have bought flaxseed that was not already ground. I had to grind it myself in a coffee grinder. This is much easier because it is ready to use right out of the bag! The bag is resealable so you don't have to find another container to store the flaxseed in once you open the bag. This is the first flaxseed product I tried, and actually I really like the flavor! I'm OK eating it by itself (usually 1 Tbsp a day), but also good with banana and/or peanut butter. Sometimes I add it to mixed nuts and then grind it all in a coffee grinder, that way the flavor blends in with the other nuts. Great product!

I add flax to my waffle recipe. I really appreciate the subtle flavor of this brand. It has a very pleasant texture, too. The packaging is convenient. Overall, I find this product hard to beat. I've tried other ground flax, but I like this brand the best. I always check the reviews when I purchase a product online. I count on others to help me choose the best option.
