Taking frozen food/meat on a 5hr plane ride to Hawaii. Would this survive checking in as luggage round trip?

absolutely! i sent a bunch of frozen breast milk from DC to Hawaii and it was still frozen when it got to hawaii.

What is the maximum weight capacity this box can hold? I need to check in about 100 lbs of mother's milk in glass bottles.

I can't remember what we sent, but it worked. The only problem I can think of is how will you guarantee the cake won't end up on its head??? Do you have some way to keep it in the middle and upright???? Not sure I'd trust the post office.
