Can this item be gate checked if it doesn’t fit in a carry on bag and we’re not checking luggage?

If I'm remembering correctly, when it is closed up it could fit in a carry on bag. Not sure it would fit in a small luggage bag. But a big personal bag I believe it would fit.

can bugs or mosquito sneak in thru the roll up mesh? Looks like it leaves small gaps open?

This is a great tent for a kid to play in. It only ties so it’s very possible that bugs will get I and mosquitos will come in . I use this for my god daughter to play with inside or at the beach or park

Does this close with velcro only? Is it east for baby to rip out of and does it let in bugs

It velcros down the middle. Probably not the best to contain baby and while it does have a mosquito net, it doesn’t fully shut so I don’t think it would offer the best protection from mosquitoes. It is great for the sun and keeping out some bugs though!
