Plastic,but very durable to use.

Is the clear bowl made of glass or plastic?

It's plastic but still gets the job done the top rim is detachable and acts as a splash guard.

Can you buy the solution separately?

No solution comes with this. You can buy whatever solution you choose to wash ur brushes with or Dawn dishsoap. Either works great with this cleaner.

What solution can I use with to clean my brushes? What works the most?

I use the ecotools brush cleaner. I think anything would work well with this machine though.

This is like magic, clean and dry each brush in like 20 seconds. It’s crazy, I thought it was going to be a total joke. A friend got me this as a gift and it just sat in my cupboard for a month. Out of guilt, I finally used it and I am obsessed! I ordered two more for gifts and I have a feeling I’ll be buying even more. Make sure to get rinse free brush cleaner and dilute it.

Bought this on a whim, and out of sheer laziness with washing my brushes. It's a little flimsy, but it cleans my brushes really well, and a lot quicker than I can. Most of the older makeup came off quite quickly, while a few needed a couple extra minutes spinning in the cleaner solution. Definitely love how dry they are when it's done, and saves me so much time!
