This RC comes with 2 rechargable batteries and 1 USB cord for charging. My 10 yr old loves playing with it, building ramps, tunnels and bridges to drive over. Worth the money spent on it. May not be for kids that are rough with their toys though. It can fall or tumble from normal use, but if its thrown or dropped from a height, the cap and mirrros may not old up for long.

Great truck

I bought two, the red and blue. The good: they’re durable with decent run time. The rock crawler transmission limits high speeds which prevents high speed crashes. The 4x4 helps them over most terrain so kids don’t get frustrated. Battery compartment is cleverly and securely stored in a tool box in the truck bed. The so-so part: one truck has a horn at low speed. One does not. One truck’s body parts for well. The other, most body parts have popped off or don’t stay attached. Really not much negative to these. It’s apparent that The Perseids had bought out stock of other companies as both trucks were different manufacturers with Perseid stickers over the original manufacturer logo. Although these trucks share the same specs, there’s some differences in build quality. Red has better part fitment. Blue has the horn. Worthwhile purchase for kids of various ages (beats the hefty prices of main line hobby brands).

Worked great for a week then he went to play with it amd something smells burnt like it's about to catch fire under the hood and it won't run at all only thing that turns on is the headlights. Wont buy again....

These are the cheapest ones but they are 4x4 and well built for what they are and you can get upgrades for them and make it what you want I have 4 different WPL TRUCKS and I love to play with all 4 I'm very pleased with the product.

Im actually more of a basher RC car driver but this is one my my few crawlers being added to my collection and I think its Awesome. It does come with two batteries and I have seen that there are a ton of upgrades possible for this little vehicle. I love the detail and look. Can’t wait to get it out on an actually course and out of my back yard. Great beginner Crawler and vehicle for parents to have fun with their kids with!

Four of these between my neighbor and I, and this last one is the first to have problems. Day 1 was simple since it was just a driveshaft screw that was loose. Day 2, today, the motor stopped working unless we gave the truck a small push. Because my personal truck has a different motor, I was able to swap in my original motor and keep this truck going. Total run time before the issue was probably 2 hours since new and for sure never overheated. It does help if you enjoy working on RC cars in order to own one of these.

I can't say I have any complaints. Great little truck right out of the box. I have already done a few upgrades for my own personal taste. I would recommend this for the beginner getting into rc rock crawler.

So it lasted about 3 weeks before I broke the shock mount, could have epoxyed it but went for some upgrades. Drop down axles, drive shafts, and the shock and 4 link set and softer tires.. still trying to dile it in but great machine! .. update lol , so a day after with the new parts the moter blew hahaha so new motor is now in and just got the 1000 mlamp batteries ( the old ones last about 10 min now .. saw a post saying if you like fixing stuff this is the machine for you, i see were they got that from but still a fun little truck

Tried getting the truck to work with no luck...tried removing battery to charge it etc and it doesnt come out at all. Checked batteries in remote and they seem ok but the truck itself is a piece of cheap china made plastic...not worth $92.

if you just plan to play around the house then this is perfect. if you plant to do rock climbing and use it as a hobby, upgrade to the metal version or the "kit" wpl. i upgraded all the parts within the first two weeks and did heavy modification like axles, shocks, wheel and tire, shafts, motor and cut some of the body to help with clearance. so much fun to customize these trucks. ton of parts on amazon or go on wpl rc website.

Its very great out of the box but in 3 days my son was playing with it the Controller steering broke on it but its a great truck
