WADEO 12 FT Propane Extension Hose with Gauge, Leak Detector, Compatible with QCC1/Type 1 Connection, Universal for BBQ Grill, Heater, Gas Generator, Black, Rubber & Brass Construction

I bought this extension hose along with an adapter to allow me to connect a propane generator to a 100 pound propane tank. The connection worked well. The generator started right up as expected and no leaks. I turned off the propane valve and let the generator run to depressurize the line. As the line depressurized I watched the gauge on the propane line drop from green to the lower peg. It's clear this measures propane level by pressure. I think it will be useful for letting me know when the tank gets low and it's time to refill the propane tank.

I had a hose like this but with steel braid on outside. Unfortunately that steel braid was too stiff and developed a leak at the fitting. So I bought this hose, more flexible, less stress on the fittings. I use this to hook up a big 25 gal propane tank to trailer by extending the trailer's short hose down to the big tank on the ground. I need to remove hose every time I take the tank to get it filled. Flexibility is working better than the stiff steel braided hose, less stress on the end fittings.

Works perfectly so far but it's only been a few days. Bought it to use one of the tanks on my camper to cook with on my grill and camp stove instead of lugging an extra cylinder every trip. Accidentally left the tank valve on twice, no leaks thus far. Would be 5 stars but we'll see how long it lasts.
