Very good. I got a lot of good compliments on this after I aged it in an oak barrel for a few weeks. (Barrel bought elsewhere.)

This is not a bottle. It looks like a condiment package, and you have to mix it with alcohol. Here I thought I was getting flavoring to use in food I make, you know like vanilla extract, That’s what happens when mixed items are viewed together. Better still I can’t return it.

Good flavor!! I'm not using it for the intended purpose but the flavor is important for me and it's there.

I mixed this with some 100 proof whiskey. Maybe I should have let it age a little longer. I left the bottle in my closet for a few days, and tried it. It definitely had some characteristics of whiskey, but the vodka really shined through. My suggestion is to let gestate for a few weeks, there may be a difference. So far, the Dublin style whiskey essence is my favorite. Will purchase other flavors, and review.

He was giddy like a kid on Christmas and spent hours reading the manual like it was sacred scripture. The setup is pretty straightforward, and the pieces seem solid. He’s made a few “test runs” (which I call “please don’t blow up my kitchen” moments), and so far, everything’s holding up great. Docking one star because the thermometer gave him trouble at first, and I had to help troubleshoot—which I didn’t sign up for. But hey, he’s happy, he’s distracted, and our house smells like apples and bad decisions. If your partner has entered their “craft distiller” phase, this’ll keep them busy—and mildly out of your hair.
