It takes about one minute to put one of these together. Just lay the top upside down on the floor and fit the bottom panels against the guides on the top. There are two little wooden pegs that swivel into place when you get the peg cutouts lined up with the pegs. My two went together without any trouble. My tables are both level and feel solid - not at all flimsy - but I stll wouldn't sit on one (it's a table). You can easily take it apart and flatten it for storage. It takes up very little space when it's flat - it's a very clever design. The bottom is open, so you could easily pick it up and put it over a light for special effects at night.
