Is this compound the 36051 exac or just ex?** A: Well, I don't have a clue what "EX" or "AC" is. I just know it's a "Rubbing compound" from 3M. That was good enough for me. I've used it and, their Polishing compound and have had great results from both. I will continue to use them. I've used both by hand, and with a machine. And, I've used foam pads and wool pads.
