This is a good clock for the money. The cuckoo works and plays very nicely. Workmanship is good too. However I find the pendulum seems to have a mind of its own. It stops all of a sudden and then starts strangely back again.. I guess it needs to be perfectly flat when mounted.. Aug-2021 - So I keep struggling with this pendulum, and its now obvious this is a manufacturing defect. I get in touch with Kintrot and after numerous messages they agree to send me a replacement unit. Here's the catch - I live in Canada and after another week or so, they say they cannot ship to Canada, and refuse to refund too. So now I'm left here with nothing but wood for a campfire. Long story short - Good looking clock, but if you end up with manufacturing defects - you're on your own. Fortunately for me, Amazon agreed to a refund, for which I'm really grateful. Thanks.

Oh my Gosh, this is absolutely beautiful!! Made from real wood! The quality is waaay better than we expected!

Very nicely done! Made of wood, great color, very nice quality for price. Everything worked perfectly when batteries were inserted. The cookoo is right on the hour with the correct amount of cookoo’s for the hour. I turned the music off. Only interested in the kookoo’s. The volume is easily heard in our living room kitchen area. I don’t see a volume control even though direction says there is. Will just turn off if we do not want the sound on at certain times. It’s suppose to shut off at dark will see, just received today. The pendulum is swinging happily, as seen in pic… lol…I’m very happy with this purchase. The pine cones are not weights just for looks which is fine, I don’t have to worry about winding up the clock!
