I have just purchased 2 more, one for a buddy and the other for an extra around my home. I use it to fill my boat and PWC at my dock. Never spilled a drop so far. **Q: Will the larger adaptor cap fit a VP racing 5 gallon jug? I believe the diameter of those are approximately 63 mm.**
A: There are numerous adapters that come with it.  By the way I have had it and have used it for a while and it has been great.

**Q: Is pump compatible with Ethanol and Methanol?**
A: I have had this pump for over a year with no issues. Not sure on methanol.

**Q: Is this set up to pump from a vehicle to gas can? Or can it be set up that way easily?**
A: No.  It is designed to pump fuel from a 5-gallon gasoline container into a tank, not the other way around.  The pump itself is on the end of the suction tube, and it would not fit into the neck of a fuel tank on a vehicle.  And the suction line is very short, having been designed to work in a five-gallon container.

**Q: what is the diameter of the pump part that drops into the gas can?**
A: 1 1\4" in diameter. (1.25 dia")

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't ask for better

When I opened the package my first response was "boy it looks flimsy." I read the instructions and put 4 AA batteries in it and took it over to my tractor. I proceeded to fill a 5 gallon jerry can within 5 minutes. It was a pleasure to drain the gas tank of the tractor being such a pain in the past. I then set the can on the ground and filled my gas tank of my truck with the contents of the can. As long as the hose reaches, you can fill with the nozzle higher than the pump. It may take a little longer. The transfer was uneventful, and I didn't have to worry about scratching my paint with the gas can when I was lifting and pouring at the same time. The auto-stop worked flawlessly and I couldn't see in the can when filling from the tractor. I am sure that this might be a problem for some people because if they try to use it in "other than vertical position" it will trip off as designed. This pump is probably for intermittent use, but for that price I will buy another when this one breaks.
