**Q: are these compatibale with teh Makita sustainers?**
A: Not sure.Only if it has the lower slide slots equivalent to the systainer  3.

**Q: How deep does the cabinet cavity need to be to accommodate the slides?  I.e. how long are the slides?**
A: The rails are 13-1/2” long

**Q: how many sets of rails?**
A: There are 8 rails in the package, so 4 pairs.  Enough to do 4 Systainers.  Thank you for your interest!

**Q: can you open the systainer without removing it from the rails?**
A: Yes, but you need to pull the Systainer about 3/4 of the way out to do it.
