It's niche but it works
I hated to have to buy a charger for a specific laptop, but my universal charger didn't have an attachment for this old Chromebook. Most Chromebooks now use USB-C, so I was kind of up against the wall. This charger works as intended, and the price wasn't crazy. It charges fast enough and seems relatively sturdy. One of the kids uses the Chromebook for school and Prodigy, so what are you gonna do?

battery in my chromebook died found this one around 15 dollars works well recharged over night! keeping a full charge after around a week. so far so good.thought would be more expensive compared to other chargers I have had to buy! seems worth the money but lets see how long it last hopefully longer than the life of my samsung chromebook that I would also recommend ! I was very concerned that I would have to return this and have a dead Chromebook.
When my original cord broke at the strain relief I tried to get a replacement locally, but all they could get were universal ones with a 2.5mm OD which is too large for this Chromebook. I located and ordered this largely "blindly" with little effort just eyeballing the connector in the photo. While waiting for it to arrive I looked up several other chargers and all had just the 2.5mm connector. I quickly became convinced this too would have the 2.5mm connector and I would have to return it. When I opened the package today I was overwhelming pleased to find the connector fit my Chromebook perfectly! It is now charging after having sat with a dead battery for more than a month. I will be ordering another of these as a spare ASAP. Thanks for saving my obsolete refurbished Chromebook!!!!! Checking with a metric ruler, it is 2mm OD not the 2.5mm OD listed. Bought 2 more and all of them are indeed 2.0mm. Perfect and now I have spares!

A good charger for your laptop
This item is great for charging my chromebook but care needs to be observed eith the charging port, I've accidently bumped into it bending the port
