Superior Pump 99621 Lay-Flat Discharge Hose Kit, 1-1/2-Inch by 25-foot

Not sure what all somebody can say about a plastic hose. It is as was described and works just fine. I used one of the adaptors and the hose clamp and had no issues with either. I would recommend this to others.

This hose really allowed for a lot more flow when draining the pool. Quality is good, it lays flat when empty so you can coil it back up for storage, Which is a lot better than dealing with a ridgid hose. Overall I recommend this if you'd like to speed up the draining ( or filling process)

Excellent hose (I use it with a sump-pump to partially drain a swimming pool). The material is very strong, and really does both lie flat and pop out to a tube under pressure. No leaks, fits perfectly to my pump and standard connectors, and performs very well.

The hose worked great, as I wanted to get the water discharged away from the pool deck. I would recommend purchasing a second length of the same hose kit. 24 feet was acceptable, but 48 would be better, considering the 5 foot draw from the bottom of the pool, and the 10 foot distance across the pool deck to the fence, I only had 11 foot of hose to get the water awaY. I also purchased the check-valve, and 1/3 HP pump. These were recommended in the “Items also purchased together with the hose” section. The check valve served it’s purpose, and only allowed water to flow away from the pump, and not back thru it. The pump worked very well, and as advertised. I wish there was a higher horsepower available, because it took a while to lower my pool level for the winter closing. According to the manual, I had about 34 gallons per minute, since I was pumping from approximately 5 foot underground. I have a 40,000 gallon pool, and it took just under 3 hours to lower the water about 10 inches. away from the pool deck. I read a few of the other comments, concerning the hose adapter not connecting to the pump discharge. While the pump discharge connector is much smaller than the hose adapter, the check valve kit will allow for the pump AND check-valve AND hose to all connect together and work as advertised.
