Excellent quality, great value! Perfect size and did the job we needed. Comes with a handy little plastic part that you attach to the bag to seal it. Pop it on one end and pull it along to the other a bit.loke a zip lock bag.

Great bags - large enough for a super king sized quilt (depending on tog rating) I put a 10.5 and a 13.5 in 2 bags and they sealed perfectly. The material is really thick and won't tear or puncture easily and they were really great value for money.

The vacuum mattress bag arrived on time and matched the online description. The plastic quality is decent, but the zipper alignment on both sides was slightly off, causing minor air leakage. I had to apply some heat to the plastic zipper area to get a complete seal. Overall, it did the job, but the product could benefit from better precision in its design.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Bought queen size for a double mattress, just in case it was going to be tight fit. Plenty of room for the double, so probably should have bought the double size...but for a couple of quid more, wasn't bothered, it fitted inside.....doing up the zip slide, takes time, and making sure the double zip was engaged along the whole length, had a small gap right at the end, doubled that bit over and taped it.....started to suck the air out.....this is only good for a foam mattress, won't work on a spring one.......made sure the vacuum port was over the mattress so it could suck air throught the mattress cover....and away it went. I helped it along by pushing down on the mattress, this seemed to work quite well. Took a good 20 minutes to expel as much air as I deemed fit, but beware your hoover can over heat so I took the hoover nozzle off just to cool it down. Trouble was it wasn't totaly air tight, so air went back in, not a lot but enough......then came the fun part of trying to roll the mattress on my own.....didn't want to play....Have to think smarter, because air was getting back in, I kept the vaccuum running on the port, this helped me to start the initial roll, enough to get a strap on, then worked my way up the mattress with another strap then another etc. OK not in a roll but starting to take shape, let the hoover have a break and cool, then started it up again to suck out air that had got in, then it was a matter of lean on it, roll and tighten straps, roll and tighten straps.....eventually got it to a reasonable sized roll, with all the straps tight and in place.....How long did this take me about an hour and a half, it would have been faster if I had another person or two......Did it work...Yes, but hard on your own......if leaving it overnight, it would be good to give it a suck before bed, and first thing in the morning....Will I use it again, my new mattresses have springs, so this won't work....lastly when releasing the buckles, it will unravel with force!!! Stand clear!

Doing the job, happy

It worked very well on my hybrid ueen sized mattress. 12 total inch thickness (a 2 in topper and a 10 in bed) reducing it down to about 4 in thick. I will say if you use a hybrid mattress you will DEFINITELY NEED HELP ROLLING IT UP. The compression works well however, and it seems to hold a good seal. Many of the reviews complain of it leaking. I did notice a small leak while sealing it, but it was resolved by frequently resealing the zipper. Additionally i strongly recommend pulling the zipper upright after sealing it to prevent strain on it. Make sure you che k the zipper frequently. The instructions also mention that if you are going to be storing it for long term wrap it in packing tape. I personally wrapped mine in duct tape to ensure a long lastong tight roll. The plastic on the bag itself is thick and seems rather durable but i still recommend being gentle with it as you compress it. If sealing any mattress with springs ie a hybrid like i did i do advise laying on it on the edges and corners to help compress the bag and make it easy on your vacuum. You will need a second person if youre sealing anything spring but im not knocking points off for that since it says its for foam. It fit well over the mattress (queen size with topper AND linens(topper, mattress protector pad) fitted sheet))) and was fairly easy to slide the mattress into. Should it fail in storage i will update my review. But over all it seems to be solid and do the job well.
