First - absolute "piece of cake" to put together. The instructions are fine but the engineering is much better than fine - whole thing from out of box to up an running was less than 30 minutes.We use the cold frame to develop some plants from seed this spring and it worked great. We put it up against the house when we expected a late frost (San Francisco bay doesn't really do winter but we do get occasional frosts) and then moved it out into the sun - very light but sturdy enough to move around easily. When you open the lid, you can feel the heat and humidity - just what the peas and beans ordered :)

Feels like it is made of balsa wood or styrofoam. I’d be shocked if the shelves could hold anything more than a small handful of succulents before succumbing to weight. So many chipped and damaged pieces and screw holes that were not aligned properly. Can’t even say the low price justifies it as I genuinely believe that there was maybe $5 worth of materials and labor put into designing and manufacturing this.

I’ll start off by saying I didn’t have high hopes for this product but it’s actually really nice! I’ll sort it into pro’s and con’s to make it simple.pro’s: Looks great for the price, super easy to put together, lots of room for bigger plants inside the greenhouse (as well as the shelf!)cons: it’s made with pretty cheap wood so it’s easily dented and splintered so you need to be extra careful when maneuvering it around, but maybe if it was painted it would look better but i like the wood look. i also thought it came with actual glass but it comes with ribbed acrylic pieces. It also has a few holes on the top piece where i’m assuming handles would be put in, but it didn’t come with any so i’ll have to buy them separately.Overall it’s a good functional piece, a bit overpriced, but i think with a little love is a great piece for beginner gardeners. :)

I really like this greenhouse, and for the price, I feel it is well-constructed and very easy to assemble. My plan is to use it for my outdoor bonsai projects during the fall and winter and perhaps for herbs and a vegetable in the spring and summer, squirrels and raccoons permitting...

The product arrived with some deformed areas in the clear/plastic portion. The color of the wood is not quite as advertised. The method of locking the lid into the open position is... Rudimentary, to put it lightly. You have to screw and unscrew the locking mechanism every time. It doesn't glide smoothly, and is definitely going to be subject to wear and tear on that slide.I don't have high hopes about the longevity of this product.

Very nice product. Good quality and pretty large

I brought in my outdoor plants because the temps have been dropping. Some of my plants need bright sunlight. This should help. Worth buying!
