It does not contain any artificial fragrances. It contains natural ingredients: Palm Kennel Oil, Coconut Oil, Stearin Oil, Cocoa Pod Husk, Unrefined Shea Butter, Plantain Skin Ash, Natural Vitamin E, Natural Sodium, Water Since this is RAW African Black Soap, do not rub the soap directly on the face or skin. Lather soap in hand or washcloth and apply to face, body, or hair. This soap may contain small particles of plantains that could scratch or cause irritation.

Review: Real Deal Stuff !!! PLEASE READ - GUYS. So I’ve been using this brand of soap since like April ish of 2019 and I haven’t looked back. I originally bought it for my eczema (back of my knees) and light acne (light acne meaning a few bumps here and there every blue moon no major acne condition) and found that it worked well for both conditions. I will give a warning though: when you first use this soap (this may or may not apply to everyone) it will hurt and burn like hell. For my acne, it was like addressing the elephant in the room. It opened my acne spots up, it made my bumps red and a lil bloody but that was okay. Like life, things get really bad before things get really good. It addressed my acne right away and made it raw and vulnerable. I was like wtf lmao. So I let my face rest for a few days and only very very light and gentle water rinsing since my skin still felt very raw. After that when my acne started to scab up and die I was just able to wipe it away after 2-3 days and I was glowing. I loved it. But yeah your skin might react strongly then it gets used to it with consistent use. I used it on my body and hair as well. Now I will say that I feel like it has a really strong acidic ph (which could explain the burning reaction) so I decided to one day combine the soap with black seed oil (amazing herbs brand) and make a lil multipurpose wash. I did 3 parts liquified soap to 1 part black seed oil and that was EVEN BETTER. Those two products compliment each other very well and it basically healed my severe eczema. I washed my body with it and moisturized with yellow Shea butter. Dassit. And another thing I’ll say, this combo really is multipurpose. I use it to wash my hair (black soap is extremely clarifying, add BSO for a good clarifying eczema wash, or add another type of oil (olive, castor, coconut, etc.) for a clarifying, moisturizing, and curl defining hair wash) I wash my body piercings with it (the combo helps to cleanse and heal the piercings wayyy faster DONT SLEEP ON THIS), and I use it as an everyday body wash. This soap makes me feel so clean and my skin so healthy and leaves no scent (even though I do like the earthy smell of the soap) and it just has so many healing properties, and LADIES it doesn’t throw off my vaginal ph like most commercial scented soaps do. I truly love this stuff so much. One more thing, when I get the occasional wound/cut/scrape I would first put a little black seed oil on there to start the healing process and kill the germs (BSO has antibacterial/fungal properties) then when I shower i use the combo. Put Shea butter on it and just keep doing that until it’s fully healed. No nasty scars, no scar tissue (scab) formation, heals beautifully. This soap is truly truly truly amazing and I will NEVER stop using this!!!!
Review: Best soap I’ve ever used. - I’ve tried out tons of soaps, and I always come back to this one. A lot of soaps out there seem really gimmicky, relying on advertising when in reality they’re just more chemically-loaded products that don’t seem to do much.. but not this soap. Firstly, it smells amazing. It’s hard to explain what it smells like, but if I had to say something I would say it makes you smell clean. So clean that by the end of the next day and I’m about to shower I’ll wonder if it’s really necessary because I still smell good. (I still shower). This soap does not dry me out, and being I’m always rushing to get ready and hate putting on lotion so rarely do, my skin doesn’t suffer because of it. It feels like quality soap, it lathers up super nicely and rinses off clean. Don’t be put off that it looks like a huge brick of earwax, I cut a bar off and keep it in a ziplock bag; each bar lasts a good three weeks. It’s important to keep it enclosed in something, if you leave it out it dries out and falls apart faster. Also I use it on my face and even scalp sometimes, not sure if it’s meant for that but being it’s so good for my skin I can’t see it hurting any. You may need to adjust to it at first but try this soap!

**Q: Does this soap help with ezcema?**
A: I use this soap for my eczema. The way I do it (and I swear by this) is I liquify the soap (shave the soap down and put it in a large glass jar of boiling/hot water) once the soap is liquified I put some in my 8 oz applicator bottle along with black seed oil. The ratio I do is about 3/4 parts black soap to 1 part black seed oil so the soap isn’t too oily. I then moisturize my affected areas with yellow Shea butter and that’s it. The healing properties of the soap and the oil compliment each other VERY well, along with the vitamins and extreme moisture of the Shea butter. Everyone with eczema needs to try this and share if it works for you, stop putting those pharmacy chemicals and creams on your body!!!

**Q: The soap has so much oil in it, how does that actually clense the body?**
A: Hi Maxie,  I use Dove soap first, and then use the black soap.  It makes my skin so soft, that my husband says I must have the softest skin on the planet.  It doesn't make your skin oily at all.  And as a person with sensitive skin, it doesn't irritate as some soaps do.  I've been using it for over a year, and you'd have a hard time getting it away from me.  The best soap ever!
