It is a good machine, however, and worth the price and the effort to learn the threading procedure. ### ⭐ Very disappointing *by P***C on January 18, 2026* I was really looking forward to having this machine specifically because it had a 5 thread feature…only it doesn’t work at all. The chain stitch doesn’t chain. One of 3 things happen. Without running fabric through it, it either doesn’t chain at all or the thread keeps wrapping asserting the looper making a huge mess. When I run fabric through it, the thread knots up under the fabric, again, big mess. I read the manual. I watched threading videos online. This is my 7th machine and I am seamstress so I have a clue with what I’m doing. The machine just won’t do a chain stitch for anything and I spent an entire day trying to sort it out to no avail. There’s only one tension knob for one of the two threads and I’ve tried all of them. For me, threading it was not a challenge. It just will not work and the side door doesn’t align when closing either. Something may have happened during shipping. I don’t know. But I’m not going to go pay to have it serviced. It’s new and should be in working order.
