More Comfortable Than Prism V2
I tried these on before the newer version and loved them but bought the newer ones based on other reviews thinking they would have more arch support (I’m super flat footed and get shin/foot/heal pain with most athletic activity). I finally opted to buy the V1 as well and comparatively, the V1 is less securely supportive for my overpronation, but I have less direct foot pain with these than with the V2s. The V2s are stiffer and more supportive but end up being more painful for my feet. These are like walking on clouds and would be great to wear if you do long shifts standing up on hard floors/concrete. I’m still not a runner, but these still work out great when I play tennis or work out. I would say the V2s are prob better to prevent injury if I was doing really intense athletics but for my purposes I really prefer the fit of V1.They fit as expected to my size, but I need wide shoes since my arch is flat and these are VERY fitted on the sides and just fit. In fact they are a little tight if I wear thicker socks.

These look amazing in person
This is for the "Black/Lead" colorway. The upper is a rich deep black in person (it looks more grey in the product photo). Really just a treat to look at - lots of cool textures, very subtle, with a tiny, tiny hit of bright orange at the heel, which is matched with the same color on the plastic tip of the shoelace only. New Balance "NB" logo is faintly embossed at the front, not obnoxious at all. The overall look of the shoe is lean and a little tall - not bulky. I've worn other support shoes which had a wide, platypus-looking base, but these somehow hide the external stability elements and you can't see it at all. Very high quality build, lightweight, feels very supportive immediately. The footbed feels on the firm side, not as cushiony as something like React, but as I roll my ankles inward a lot, I wanted to feel some sturdy support and this is it. Wasn't expecting to be blown away by the aesthetics, but I am. Love em.

Odd, but came to like them.
Ever since high school cross country, I’ve only run in New Balance running shoes. I liked the lightweight cushion of fresh foam in the original Zante and then later on the 880.These shoes are different. I normally don’t like stability shoes, but wanted to give them a try for this track season. At first, they were difficult to get used to. They felt like a racing flat because of how light they are, and are perfectly responsive. After 3 months of wearing them, the cushion is perfect. If you are looking for something that has a perfect balance of cushion and responsiveness, then the fuel cell prism is for you.

bouncy
fantastic bouncy shoe. though for me personally it did not have high enough arches. they have good general arch support though.

Good, lively daily trainer that can do fast days.
Pros: Lively foam with some cushioning and fairly good rebound. The pronation support is mild and unnoticeable for faster tempo days. Good ground feel. Excellent grip. More snap on toe off was achieved with stiffer orthotics that can fit in the wide size. Cons : The forefoot midsole could be a bit thicker for extra cushioning. Large NB logo on upper stiffens the upper and pushes the creasing the flex point, but i have had no issues with chafing or blisters.

Great shoe! Get it!
I'm an avid gym goer and runner... doing 8 to 15km on any given day depending on weather and overall health. This sneaker is very comfortable, gives great cushioning. Was using another brand that was causing foot pain but since switching to this brand pain has gone away. I'm happy I got these.

Great shoes but fabric will rip easily rendering them unusable. New Balance is not the same :-(
Although the shoes are great, these lack durability as the fabric will rip while the soles are still new. Purchased a couple of pairs for my 120lb son who uses them to run. Both pairs ripped in the same place (towards the outside on the front). If this happened with a 120lb runner just using them for running, I would not trust them for anyone else, as with a heavier person the rip could be worse, losing stability causing a real risk of injuring an ankle.I have been a New Balance customer for many years of competing in various sports. These past few years I've encountered numerous quality issues (soles separating on various shoes, rips, uneven fit between two identical pairs, etc.,) yet I continued to purchase NB as a loyal customer. This time I decided to (for the first time) reach out to them for a warranty replacement. The process was not easy (as they asked for receipt, bunch of pictures, and then again as the tag was "difficult to read"). After multiple emails back and forth (over weeks) I was notified they would not honor warranty as claim was submitted one week after the 6 months after purchase. I perceive the long process as a discouragement to proceed with the process. I have recommended NB for many years, but I can no longer do so, based on both quality issues and New Balance no longer standing by their products.

Almost as good as the Nike Lunarglide!
I wanted to say, especially for the price, that this was almost as good as the Nike Lunarglide and LunarEclipse series. Pros: Lightweight, bouncy, great toebox. Cons: can get a bit smusy and not responsive when you're a heel/midfoot striker, and that DAMN insole! Funny, the first few runs had no issues. The 5th run for a test marathon, the insole started riding up. I had to stop and put it back, and the second time I just took it out and stuck it in my shorts. Now I have a blister on my back. But I just read about the insoles issue, and then it happened. So before you use it for a race or an important run, glue it, tape it, or do something to that slippery bottom to keep it from riding it up. If you use your own insoles it won't be an issues (but why would you do that? It's already a mild stability shoe?)Other than that, these are the closest shoes to the beloved Nike Lunarglide this #bigbonedflatfootedrunner has had. Still using the Nike Zoom Fly 3/Flyknit for racing for now (corrective insoles for long races... it's a neutral shoe), but I'd like to see the evolution of this great shoe. But damnit, fix that insole.
