Easy to use. Strong chemical odor. Works great alone or as a curing gel base coat.
I've been using a light curing liquid gel for a number of years. I do want to say this powder dip system is easier to use, and possibly quicker for application. As for longevity, it's too early to tell, however, the final result feels quite rigid. Regular liquid gel I can only get about 2 weeks as my nails are soft & flex easily, so regular gel separates from, or chips off of, the nail tip as it still allows for some flex. One drawback - I'm not slow at applying the topcoat, but apparently it starts setting up REALLY quickly and with my first use, I've gummed up 2 of the applicator brushes, which started as I was applying the top coat. The kit comes with 2 extras, as well as the one in the cleaner bottle, but at this rate, with my second use of the kit, I may very well run out of spares. Hopefully, the cleaner will help correct the gumming of the original brushes. Another drawback - both the base coat & the top coat are chemically strong smelling and create a strong burning sensation to the eyes. This is likely more my problem, as my progressives don't give me a good focal point for doing my nails, therefore I have to remove them and have my eyeballs about 10-12" away from my nails to be able to focus on the job. Plus, I have a dry eye issue to compound the problem, so they don't tear easily. Also, the activator is unpleasant smelling, but this disappears by the time the activated curing ends. Oh, the stamp doesn't come with the kit. It's a gel stamp from a kit, purchased a few months back, that I cured between 2 top coats. I wasn't sure if it would work, so was pleased to see success when using with this dip kit. Since dip is new to me, am not sure what other liquid gel options will cross over besides applicables like gems, stripe tape, etc., but it will be fun to experiment. Update - June 2024 - I've found that using dip under a liquid gel coat allows me to be a bit more creative while getting an extra week of wear out of the work. What's even better is if I'm running short on time to complete the task, I can do the whole dip process, wear it that way for a day or two, then come back with the light curing liquid gel process to top it off. And, I just use a different topcoat that doesn't cure as quickly, so no more ruined brushes. Tips: If you want try this process, I do no more than 2 dips (to prevent it becoming too thick for the final result) and complete the dip steps with the dip top 2 coats. I then use the buffing file at 1000 grit to lightly "scuff" the whole surface of the topcoat, use the gel nail cleaner solution to clean the dipped nail surface, then proceed to do the gel process starting with the base coat as if starting with a fresh nail. Then I design what I want. Holds up a good 3 weeks unless I do any projects that are particularly hard on nails in general. A bonus is, if I'm pressed for time, I can complete the dip process, go do stuff, come back a couple of hours or days later, and then get creative with a curing gel. I find this works better than a building gel to protect my nails. To remove, I file down into the dip layers, then use petroleum jelly to protect my fingerstips (skin application), in a bowl, I use a heated rice pack to "warm" the acetone gel remover, submerge my nails for 10-15 minutes, then clear off the gel. Resubmerge if necessary to remove residue. This has been the kindest process for both my fingers & the nail beds.

Easy to use follow directions to the T
Wow! This kit is a steal ! For the price and the amount of dip colors It has its insane! I do wish that the base, activator and gel top coat were in bigger bottles , and possibly glass instead of plastic but that is ok. So many colors to mix and match ! If you look at my photos I have immediately after application , then 2 weeks growth , then the white and purple are new with the silver blue and pink having 4 or more weeks growth . I have only had a few chip and I took the others off . I have a young child so it takes a lot of time for me to do a set but I still love it . I suggest watching a few tips and videos on how to apply this to get the best results but really this kit comes with so much. Literally everything you need for an amazing set ! I'm gonna have my nails done for so long with this kit. My only complaint is the bond and the base came with some excess that had dried over the edge and I worry that they lost some product during delivery . Also the bottles aren't sturdy so I spilled my activator and lost a bunch. The product is good quality. The amount of colors and shades is insane I have only used 8 colors.. but what freaking kit comes with so many colors!? Ahh im obsessed. So greatful someone recommended this to me. I 100% recomend . Its super easy ! Just be patient . Watch several how to videos snd tips and tricks . I believe anyone can have beautiful salon nails at home with this kit . Soon im goin to try my toe nails and then trying tips on my fingers . I love this nail kit ! I have my nails done all the time ! I will have 3 chil after doing lots of house work and I'll fix them same day

Thickens&hardens nails. Imperfections easily covered with reg. polish.
Lost a star because the activator came only 1/4 full which is pretty lame but I liked the results enough to purchase more. Everything's pretty easy to do but there are enough pieces and steps that if you're not paying attention you could mess up and do things out of order. I messed up a couple times in this way but was able to correct it enough to be happy with the results. The end result was fine but had imperfections, which is mostly my fault, but I just put ILNP polish over the top of it and voila! Looks good to me and my nails are thicker and harder which is the main reason I wanted to try this. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far I'm a fan. Anytime I've gotten acrylic nails professionally, if I get bored of the color, I put regular nail polish over the top and it stays better on top of the acrylic than it does my regular nail. I figured that would be the case with this and so far so good.

Great!
I was expecting bigger dip powder containers. I would say you could probably get easily 10 applications per container. Very easy application and great tools included. Loved the colors. I feel like I am saving money rather than going to the salon and I can have the same results at home. Obviously my non dominant hand looks better than the other lol but very easy to do on yourself.

Not great quality
First I have to say I’m sad to even be here giving a three star review because I was super impressed initially and had SUCH high hopes. In general, this kit seemed great! Came with all the tools and extras that are needed to do a nice manicure. There are a lot of color options and I found everything to be pretty easy to work with. After doing my nails the first time I was so excited. The process was easy, directions were simple and they turned out so nicely. Then about 3 days after doing my first attempt I noticed some cracking. Those small tiny little cracks that are okay for a bit but then start to completely chip. I thought “hmmm it has to be me. Maybe I did something wrong, or I filed too much.. or I didn’t give enough dry time in between” so, I removed them and did another set. Again, beautiful, easy to work with and I loved them. 3-4 days later, same issue… wash and repeat that cycle 2 more times, each time Thinking it’s something I was doing so I was trying to follow dry times and directions to a T. I didn’t drummel on the top like they do at the nail salon to smooth it, I did everything right, yet still (pics above of the most recent and current situation) the same Situation. I did these on Monday 9/18 and I noticed these cracks yesterday on Thursday 9/21. I am just bummed. Because while I’d like to keep buying from this company and I like most of the products and such.. either their powder or the polishes used in the process are not of good quality. I used a different brand of a friends one time awhile ago and did not have this issue.. so with that, after trying four separate times, and the fact I’m a social worker who is often on the go but it’s not like I do manual labor constantly or have my hands in water etc I know it’s the product and not me. It’s super frustrating because while it’s a pretty quick process, it still takes an hr or so and having to redo the nails every 4-5 days is opposite of the whole reason I started doing my own nails in the first place. So I’ll definitely have to start looking at other products in the near future :(

Awesome product-much better than I expected!
I did so much research on the different products out there. I just tried this today and it was so much easier than I thought it would be. The polish went on so well. My nails are rock hard!

Easy to use
I am so impressed. I have never used any sort of dip powder before and also never had anyone use it on my nails. On my first use I was able to give myself a decent looking manicure. This is exactly the kind of nail product I was looking for, easy to use, long lasting and easy to remove.

Turned out as good as to be expected on first application!
Worked great. So far it seems durable/thick which was what I wanted. Easy to use. Instructions were ok but I did have to look up a couple pieces of the set online to figure out what they were for. The color seems true to color to me for this first color I used (baby pink). Definitely a learning curve to making the nails look really good, as with all nail products. I did a little better on the second hand than the first. Definitely needed/used a power grinder to touch up the edges, around cuticle and smoothing down the nail and get rid of bumps. I also used the provided file but grinder made it much easier. My nails are super short right now and it’s by no means a professional level job I did but I’m happy with it. It did take 3 dips to get good coverage on the nail. I tried pouring it first but dipping worked much better. Since my nails are short, dipping was fine for me. I did it late last night and it’s 1:51pm and I just noticed a corner is cracked on my thumb nail already. Hopefully that’s an anomaly because it did take too much time to be cracking in less that 24 hours! But so far I’m satisfied with it. We’ll see. UPDATE - DAY 5: two nails have chipped. Definitely does not meet my expectations. However, the remaining polish is still very thick and durable. I will probably redo them in another day or two. My nails do NOT look damaged in the areas where the polish chilled off.
