Q: Does this have wall mounts? I prefer to mount my wireless routers high on the wall or ceiling. Are their mounting slots on the back?

No wall mounts or slots. The refurbished one they sent back has a strong WiFi signal, way better than the one I sent in. I went with another router and this one is available jim6xe@aol.com make offer.

Q: Can this replace device serve as dual band modem for Cox(DOCSIS 3.0 modem)?

The Linksys N900 (EA4500) is a router and works with DOCSIS 3.0 modem but it will not work as a replacement of a modem.
