I LOVE this clock because I'm so damn busy that I sometimes forget what day of the week it is and the temperature feature helps me know if it is me who is hot or the room. I keep this in my bedroom to the left of my TV. The numbers are HUGE, so I can read everything from in bed. First thing I do when I wake up is look at the clock to watch how much more time I can lay in bed. The clock dims to the perfect level so I can be staring straight at my TV and not notice the clock and it doesn't bother me when I sleep. I would have posted a picture but my room isn't clean.

Update: Since my original post, I added a blue version to my garage. It works fine in that location, but I wouldn't want it in my bedroom, the red one stays put there and doesn't keep me awake. As I'm no spring chicken anymore, I wanted a clock for my bedroom which was easy to to read yet wouldn't disturb my sleep with intrusive brightness. Over the years I've found that blue clock lights, while pretty, would light up a room like Times Square. So I picked the red Yortot. Good Choice. This clock actually has FOUR levels of brightness, then off; I think some descriptions have indicated only three. Also, one review stated that only the clock was dimmable, the temp/day/date were not. This is NOT the case, all displays dim equally as the dim button is pushed. Setting this up is simple and the instruction book is well written in English, not in a poorly translated other language. Included is a mounting template for the screw holes, screws and drywall anchors. I put it up easily and had no problems setting the clock, day and date. The temperature reading is within 1 degree Fahrenheit of a laboratory calibrated test thermometer, I have not noticed any temperature influence from the LED readouts. Although the manufacturer states it repeatedly, it's worth saying again: WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT, SO DOES THE DISPLAY!! The two AAA backup batteries, not included, serve only to preserve the settings, they could not possibly keep such a bright display lighted. I haven't used the bottom LED display but I think it would be helpful if the clock was used over a doorway in a commercial setting, it works well, has multiple color and dimming combinations, but I don't need it in my bedroom, so it's turned off. Since I'm very sensitive to light while I'm trying to sleep, I'm still experimenting with different light level adjustments. The one shown in the photo is the next level down from full brightness, it seems to be adequate for both daylight and sleeping. As for accuracy of timekeeping, it has not lost a single second in 24 hours when compared with my always accurate internet clock. So I'm very pleased with this purchase. The mostly positive reviews are well earned, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great clock. Plenty large, see it from far side of moon. Nice to see day, date, and temp also. Can be very bright, we turn it down/off at end of night, easy with remote. Worth it.

Easy time setting. The brightness works very well up or down. The size of the clock is very big and easy to read. 7 color options are a plus! The clock and temp and month/date and day of week are great! Thank you!

Great clock for the shop, numbers are clear and easy to see from anywhere in the garage. Changes time with Daylight Saving Time automatically, which I was not expecting. Lost a star for me because the power cable is super flimsy feeling.

just received it today and love everything about it over several other brands. I bought 2 other brands and returned them for this Yortot 16" led clock. Great features: non-glare acrylic display, huge 4.5" numbers, dimmable both led display & night light, great remote control, 10' long adapter cable and excess cord is hidden inside the back of the unit is a great idea to keep organized and mounting template with screws included. the instructions are superb and besides the remote you also get manual controls on the right side of the unit to duplicate the remote controls. the auto daylight savings time DST feature is fantastic and the night light has 6 different colors to choose from. This is a joy to have so i bought additional 4 for my office, garage, living room and bedroom. setting time is very easy from remote control and all features once set are saved by the 2 aaa batteries that you insert in the back. i recommend this for any room where you need a large dimmable clock with calendar and the temperature is pretty accurate in the home. as far as the time accuracy only time will tell if this keeps accurate time.. Lastly people talk about the temp and i can assure you the temp is accurate compared to other temperature devices in my home. no issues with the temp however if it is on a hot inside wall where the sun beats down on the exterior of that wall if you mount clock on inside wall then yes the temp will be approx. 2 degrees more shown on the display because the unit is picking up the heat transfer from outside, i have 4 of these clocks and they are the best out there and have not gained nor lost time. NOTE ACCURATE TIME SETTING - the one trick to setting the time accurately to the second is two things: 1. set THE LED wall clock to your cell phone or gps time by the second is to start by plugging in the led clock in the wall outlet for the first time (without the backup batteries in the compartment), plug ac adapter in wall outlet about 20 seconds before your cell phone time gets to the next minute. so if you are setting your clock here to 10:09 then plug wall clock in 20 seconds before 10:08:40 because as soon as you plug the LED clock in the wall outlet the led inside clock timer starts counting before you even go thru the led time setting menu. then go thru the menu to set the clock assuming you go thru the time setting menu in 20 seconds then at the end of setting the time/date push set then the led time should be to the second compared to your cell phone time. the point is the led clock timer starts time as soon as you put the led clock timer in the wall outlet not when you push set on the remote control after you went thru the menu. i found this out because every time i push the final menu item to set clock the time would be off on the led for about 20-30 seconds so i figured out what was happening.. if you have to go thru the above procedure because you cant set the time fast enough in say the 20 seconds above if the batteries are inserted during this second go around if you want the accurate time by the second then dont have the backup batteries in the compartment before setting to the accurate time to the second otherwise if you want led to show time to the second accuracy .

This clock is so nice! i wanted a big nice display clock for my garage to keep track of time while working and also temperature display. this does both perfectly. the display is larger than id imagined it to be which is nice. the brightness of both the display and the light under is adjustable thats really nice. the clock does come with a remote you can use to control brightness, but its really not great, the buttons arent working well and it feels pretty cheap. This is the only downside to this product
