NO Regrets!!
BUY THE CUPS!! I’m 31, I’ve had 2 children and my periods since my second birth have been very heavy since. I threw them straight in the deep end and used them whilst on holiday as I struggle using tampons when swimming in the pool/sea. They were a DREAM. The larger cup does me for the first 3-4 days and the smaller cup till my cycle has finished. They’re easy to use, easy to clean and definitely recommend purchasing the cleaning tub to sterilise them in. Pelvic floor muscles are your best friend, they make it a lot easier to get the cup out and also help with securing the suction once inserted. I’m fully converted and I love them.

Good stuff and soft enough
Great that it comes in two sizes, I personally almost always use smaller size, as my flow is not so heavy but in case of longer travel the bigger cup is super handy. Comfy and soft enough

Money saving
First time trying these instead of pads. I am pleased though they tend to leak if you're sat down/ lying down. If you're upright no leakage. I tend to wear a liner with it. The small one leaks the most so stick to the bigger size. Overall would recommend as it saves on sanitary supplies.

First time cup user
These are brilliant! I got the set with a large and a small. When inserting for the first time I did struggle a bit. I was frustrated! I'd heard how good they were and that you can't feel them when in, but I was there struggling, sure I'd had things go in there that were larger than this folded cup but this still couldn't fit?! I got it in eventually, after folding it in various ways til I found something that suited me. Once it was in, it truly is as comfortable as I'd heard they were. You can just about feel it when you think of it, but it's not uncomfortable in any way and when you're not thinking of it you can't feel it. When you fold it and put it in, it unfolds once inside you and that's it. I had no leaks. Removal is a bit uncomfortable, I was worried to fold it when taking it out incase it spilled, so that probably added to the discomfort. I needn't have worried as it wasn't yet full after 10 hours wear! Definitely recommend these things. I wish I'd tried sooner. These ones specifically are really soft, easy to fold and comfortable to wear. The case they come with is really handy too.

A game-changer!
I’ve been meaning to try a menstrual cup for years but always made an excuse not to buy one for whatever reason. After seeing how reasonably priced this one was and being impressed with the reviews, I decided to just go for it. I am so so happy that I did and I’ll tell you for why... (name that show) 1. I liked that it came with both sizes. I was unsure which to go for. I’m a 33 year old with two children however they were born via c-section, not vaginally so I was confused as to whether that made a difference. I tried the large straight away and it just so happens that it was perfect for me. I have a 12 year old daughter who I will give the small one to so she can use it when she feels confident enough to insert it properly. 2. Prior to first use, the look of the cup is intimidating. You can’t imagine how it will work when it’s inserted and I worried that it would take me ages (and require flexibility reserved for somebody much younger and slimmer than myself!) to make sure it was positioned correctly. I needn’t have worried. It went in correctly first time. I have an average height cervix and found that I didn’t need to alter the length of the stem however it is worth bearing in mind that you can cut it to length to make it more comfortable. 3. This little beauty worked as it should immediately, leaving me in awe and wishing that I’d tried it years earlier. I can’t feel it once it’s in position and for somebody with an average flow, I only need to empty it twice a day. I have had no leaks whatsoever. 4. Removal of the cup is simple enough. Possibly a little messy but nothing that I believe should put anybody off purchasing it. Plus it is so fascinating to see your ‘output’ - it’s less than you might have imagined! 5. This cup will pay for itself after only a couple of months use and I imagine will last for years when taken care of properly. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I no longer have to buy tampons - both for the cost aspect, and the environmental impact. In summary, if you are dithering for whatever reason, I can wholeheartedly recommend this cup, especially if you are not wanting to part with the £25+ for a moon cup or diva cup. It might be the best thing you do for yourself, your bank account, and the environment!

This is a thick, relatively stiff cup. It’s good quality and doesn’t seem to be discoloring as fast as the previous cup I had. It opens easily when inserted and is comfortable. I do recommend it and will purchase again as long as this model is still available in a couple years when I need a new one. But I don’t recommend this cup for a beginner since the thickness and stiffness of the silicone means insertion is not as easy as it would be with a thinner cup. Personally I prefer a stiffer cup and find it faster and easier to use now that I’m experienced with insertion, but I don’t think I would have liked this cup if I bought it when I was new to cups. A beginner should probably try something softer and then get this as a second cup later.

So it’s only been 24 hours since I started using this, but here’s how it went: I got the small- I’m 28 and have not had kids. When I got it, it ended up being towards the end of my period, so a light flow. I was more comfortable starting then anyway, I was less concerned about leaking and much of a mess. I folded it and used according to the diagrams and didn’t have any trouble. Compared to inserting a tampon with an applicator, it does feel like you’re going deeper. There won’t be anything external (like a string with a tampon). It also seemed like it didn’t “pop” open all the way from being folded. I read some reviews that said that’s okay, so I went with it. Again, I had very light flow and wasn’t overly concerned. In the end there wasn’t any leaking. I wore it for several hours and had no issues. I was nervous about suction and taking it out, but didn’t have issues there. I specifically chose this one because of the ball at the end, it really does make it easier to take out I think. There was a little bit of suction (and it did make a noise lol). With inserting and removing, I did have one foot on the edge of the tub, which seemed to give me the angle I needed. I put it back in to wear overnight. In the middle of the night, I woke up and I noticed some very mild cramping/pressure where it was placed. It could definitely have been that I didn’t have it exactly right, or from using tampons previously. It wasn’t anything that would stop my normal activities or prevent me from using it again. Overall, I’m pretty happy with how it’s going! The price was amazing compared to others too.

I had a beach trip coming up, got this bad boy at the last minute and it did not disappoint. I was skeptical of wearing it to the beach but this was my first menstrual cup. It was uncomfortable at first but wearing it for a while, my body got used to it and I almost forgot my cycle was on. All I know it’s definitely saved me money from tampons and pads. I still have my entire box of tampons. Needless to say, I love it.

These menstrual cups are comfortable; I can move around and sleep without feeling them much. The material used is soft to the touch yet still somewhat firm, so it does hold its shape when placed correctly. I find the large size is too large for me, but at the same time, the smaller cup is a hit or miss, depending on whether it's inserted correctly. I have had some leaks, but luckily I was home. It's nice that they provide two different sizes for the price point compared to other brands I've seen that only give you one cup. This is my first time with menstrual cups, so I can't compare it to another, but so far, this one seems okay only when placed correctly! That might take a little practice! Removing it can be a little painful due to the suction, but once you get the hang of it, it's not that bad. I will see after another use if I really like it or not, but for now, it's just okay, as it does sometimes leak pretty badly if the seal is not tight when inserted. I would recommend wearing a liner when out and about, just in case!

Had been using the moon up for years, but since Brexit made it so expensive to import, I tried the Shordy and find it better, more comfortable, than the Mooncup!
