The lights appear to be very bright, especially the front white light. The rear red light i have clipped to my saddlebag, so it seems very secure and I don't expect any issues with loss. Because of the size and shape of the lights, securing the white light to the front fork (which is where i had hoped to) is not practical or even possible. It will secure to the handlebars using the rubber band, but for me and my preference that won't be my choice (I don't like to clutter my bars with excessive devices). I was able to secure it with the rubber band to the headset, it fit perfectly but doesn't necessarily feel secure. A few other reviews mentioned losing the light after hitting rough roads or large bumps when using the rubber band attachment. As I said, I'll know better after I road test. I am very happy that these units are USB rechargeable, I like to be as green and environmentally conscious as possible. Only one glitch I found with the charging process, the rear red light does not have the green indicator when charge is done, the red indicator simply turns off. Whereas the front white light does turn to green when charging is finished. I don't think that will be an issue, but for full disclosure purposes I felt it needed mentioning. All in All, first impressions are extremely positive. *Update* Absolutely love these lights, road tested really well. High visibility Review: Fantastic Bike Light Set - I am an avid cyclist who averages 100 miles per week of bicycling, and these lights are excellent! They are very bright and have different functions and flash modes. I love them so much that I when I lost one, I ordered another set. Unfortunately, just out of the return time, the rear bike light stopped accepting the charging cable. It's a bit of a design flaw that it's difficult to put the cable in straight, but when I reached out to Arespark, I was impressed with their customer service. In fact, I value excellent customer service over excellent products, because when things go wrong, you need people who care and want to make things right. Because they made things right and my new set seems as good as my first set, I went ahead and ordered my 4th set of these fantastic bike lights! For the price, they are especially amazing. I like that I can easily clip the rear light onto my saddle bag then take it off to recharge it. The lights are very bright and last for a two to three 4-hour rides, so 8-12 hours between charges. It's a great light set, and I highly recommend it!

Quality product and versitile
Purchased these for a bike that has a large front basket and a regular handlebar light won't work well to be seen. I can mount these virtually any place that the stretchy band will go around. Comes neatly packaged with two lights, two bands, and two USB charger cords. Charging is easy...plug it in and the unit glows red then turns to green when it's charged. Takes a couple hours to fully charge. The lights are very bright and have settings for full on and blinking. Very good value for the money. I'm hoping the bands will last a very long time as you need to take them off the bike to charge the unit...but I have no reason to think they won't. This unit seems perfect for those situations where a permanently mounted light won't work, or where you want to switch the lights to different bikes.

Good, versatile, decently made bike lights, that are very competitive for the price.
It comes with a red and white light, 2 very short micro USB cables (any micro USB cable will charge these though if you lose them), and two straps. The lights are bright and clear and will make you visible a good distance away. They are not powerful enough to illuminate a dark trail in front of you, however. The have 4 modes each that cycle through by clicking the button: 1. Always on (bright) 2. Always on (dimmer) 3. Single blink flashing 4. Triple blink flashing. They take a few hours to charge and each have a little red light that illuminates while charging that turns to green when fully charged. The straps are a rubber material that stretch to fit on a variety of diameters. They appear to recover fully when removed and I do not have any worry about them stretching out or losing elasticity (after a few weeks anyway). The biggest issue is that the red light does not last very long. It will last probably 2 hours on a full charge and then just go out. The white light, however, will stay on much longer and I actually have never exhausted its battery since I charge it when the red one dies. Overall they're pretty good but 2 hour battery life is just poor. That's one long ride and it makes me anxious about it blinking out halfway through and cars not being able to see me. If you have shorter commute rides then just make sure you keep them charged. Update: after more testing and looking at the competition I have changed my rating to from 3 to 5 stars. Most competitor products have similar battery life so these are right in line with the competition. Also, I was using the (always on, brightest) setting and by using another setting (like blinking) you can significantly extend the battery life on these. I also love how they can be moved between bikes easily. So for the price, I would say these are an excellent choice. Not perfect but very good comparatively.
