When I first looked at the age rating [ 3+ years ] and opened the box, I thought 'No way, can a 3 year old do this! They will probably just choke on the plastic screws!'. Then, I remembered that this is a STEM toy. It's designed to be used with parental supervision, as a learning toy that also nurtures the bond between the child and the adult. So, keeping that in mind, I went through the process of building one of the four that come in the set. Below are my observations:First, the instructions are minimal. You have some 'exploded diagrams' of each dino, and a little description of that particular dinosaur as a teaching tool. Most written instruction is very brief and universal to all four toys. Do NOT depend on being able to match the toy itself to the illustrations by color. They don't match.Each of the major body parts are in halves that just snap together. The movable joints have a ratcheting mechanism that keeps them in the desired position, making them posable. That function does not work as intended for the legs. The 'ratchets' do not contact well enough to keep them stationary. But, that is of little consequence to a small child that just wants a toy.Each toy comes with extra screws and a couple of 'twist lock' mounting screws that can be used to fasten them (by the corresponding slots in the feet) to a flat surface like cardboard. I suppose this would be helpful if the child was building their own little diorama.The screws can be removed and reinstalled as often as you like. I haven't tried, but, I suppose some of the parts are interchangeable. This would allow the child to make their own dinosaurs and be creative, rather than follow a proscribed set of instructions.I think that this set of four dinos is a great way to develop interest, curiosity, motor skills and mental development in young children. So, I'm very happy to give it five stars.

My kids like to put things together, especially if they get to use tools, so they enjoyed assembling these dinosaurs with the screws and the provided screwdriver. It doesn’t take long, and I’d say anyone over age 5 should be able to assemble them on their own, and age 3 or 4 could do it with a little help.These have articulating legs, neck, jaw, and tail. I appreciate that they are sturdy and they actually stand up without falling over thanks to the wide feet. We’ve had so many animal and soldier-type toys that wouldn’t stand up on carpet or on the couch, or would fall over if there was the slightest bump from someone walking by, and that gets pretty frustrating pretty quick.We also like that there are 4 dinosaurs, which is a lot for the price, and the colors are bright and fun. They seem to be well-made. The screws stay put once tightened so I think these will last quite a while.

I ordered two sets of these for 4 grandchildren, and they were a big hit. They are easy enough to screw together and very recognizable to dino aficionados. They had a great time. Very sturdy with movable parts.

Got it for my 5 yo dinosaur obsessed son. He needed help putting the dinos together at first, but once they were all put together he was able to take them apart and put them back together on his own. He has now discovered he can make funny dinosaurs by mixing and matching various pieces and I love the hours of entertainment he's getting from it and how the toy is nurturing his creativity and helping with his fine motor skills and concentration.

These were fun for our 4.5 year old to assemble and play with. One thing we liked was how bright the colors were. They also have a bit of movement even after assembled with our son like. Each dinosaur was organized in an individual bag and it came with some extra parts. This would make for a great gift!

The media could not be loaded.  I actually bought this for my little boy. He is 4 years old and loves everything about dinosaurs. He also loves trying to get into my tools. He’s favorite thing about this set is he can put that together. I helped him out the dinos together, by putting the pieces together and setting the screws in the holes. He was ecstatic! A lot fun

Got this as a gift. It was a hit and the kiddos seemed to put them together pretty well. Might be tricky for younger kiddos still learning, but great aid in learning.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for for 2 year old daughter who is fascinated by dinosaurs. At first I thought she was not going to be able to assemble it because she is so little, but I was surprised she did it with a little help! This is her favorite toy right now! Each dinosaur comes with a separate screw driver which allows multiple kids to play together. It’s also very well made, we took it apart so many times and no problems. I can see she will play with this many years to come! Overall very happy with my purchase.

My kids love dinosaurs.. and by far this is one of their favourite toys. With the first dinosaur he need help by his dad after that he made the rest all by himself.. it was easy for a 5 years old. It comes in a set of 4.. if they come more in a set I definitely get more. My kids just love it.. would hold to bed at night.. I definitely getting more dinosaurs toys on amazon since my younger child birthday is coming soon..

What I like most is each pack includes tool to build so the kid’s can enjoy building the dinosaurs with a few friends at the same time - or share a box with some friends. Great educational toy with hours of fun!

Granddaughter loves her dinosaurs. Giving a 4 star as there was missing pieces.

Daughter loves playing with these and our older son enjoys taking them apart. Went together easy and came with extra screws for when they lose them.

Good quality. Product is as described. Very creative for kids to mix and match any way they want to and go crazy with any design they want. Does not limit their imaginative ability.
