My faucet doesn't have any threads to screw something onto it. Would I even be able to install it, or would i have to replace the whole faucet?

most sinks have an aerator on them. grab some channel locks and give a turn. The aerator is smooth but screws on to the threads of your facet. make sure your going the right direction and don't forget it is upside down.

Okay so what's the scoop on this bidet? Some have mentioned having trouble installing it? How is the water pressure from this thing?

Installation took me about 2 minutes -- including a bit of brush-scrubbing the existing fitting after removing the aerator, so it would be nice and clean. Water pressure is awesome, we'll be using it with the tap only partly open because full-open it's a real blast! No leaks, even with pressure on the hose and the sprayer off. I just hand-tightened all fittings, using an existing washer in the tap (there's another supplied in the box, but I didn't need it as our tap already had one on the aerator) and the supplied washers on the hose and fittings.

You’re connecting to a potable water supply, then using the nozzle near human waste/contamination, but there’s no backflow preventer?

There are 2 black flow preventers so the pressure doesn't build up and leak. One with the distal nozzle (farthest away from the main water supply). And one below the main water turn on. You have to have the main water faucet on and the lever on to get any water. I love this gadget. I would suggest doing a test spray to make sure the temperature isn't too hot. Seriously thinking of getting 90 yr old mom one!!! This is a really great product. I'm a nurse and am impressed with this-especially cost and convenience!
