I have a studio and I play multiple instruments I have some of my music copywritten and ready to sign myself to my own record label I'll meet the big guys later after they want in on the musical compositions of mine that is climbing the musical charts

I have been following the creative destruction of the music "industry" for several years now. The timing of this book is perfect. While DIY has emerged as a legit (and probably better) approach, there are lots of lessons learned that only experience and mistakes will teach you. This book does a great job pulling it all together. I really enjoyed the digestible writing style and referenceable content, an unusual combination that is truly rare! (psst - I need a hardcover for my shelf).

Excellent and very well organized book to help walk people step by step on how to promote their music. I loved the real world examples and the clearly laid out chapters to help me understand the entire process of launching a single. The author also offers a video course that offers a deeper dive into the subjects discussed in this book and I highly recommend that as well.

I've been playing, and some recording, for years; this book has lot of stuff I never knew. Good source for a person who is getting close to releasing a record, I think. Might need some guidance from a 'music attorney' to get second opinion of some things???

This is more for bands and stage performers and how to promote. Lacking a bit for songwriters.
