Q: do these beads tarnish?

galvanized beads tarnish less than non-galvanized, & duracoat galvanized tarnishes even less, but with any silver-colored items there is always some tarnishing although it might not be much. To protect items made, pack in a container with a silica gel pack like you find in medicine & shoes & do not use cosmetics or body sprays whi8le wearing. I tend to also dip items in a floor polish or other protectant. On the other hand, I've little or tarnishing - so far. Not sure of the link, but Miyuki has a complete list of their beads & colorfast/tarnish factors, so best to check there if concerned.

They're not galvanized, they're glass. The color is "galvanized silver" but thats just a name. The beads are glass so you don't have to worry about tarnish or discoloration.

I don’t know what a Tohos is but these beads are very tiny, classy, and they look really good as accent beads on my sun catcher projects.
