I decided to give these plant-based calcium pills a try after my doctor recommended I start taking a supplement to keep my bones strong. These are tasteless, relatively small compared to some other supplements, and can be taken with a meal. The directions call for taking three pills daily, so I can space out taking them over the course of each day, with either main meals or even a snack, and taking smaller amounts of calcium at each meal seems to be more beneficial for my digestion without having to worry about calculating how to get the same benefit from milk based products. Those people at risk for developing osteoporosis may find the plant calcium in these easier to tolerate than ingesting milk products, and those people who are lactose intolerant may find these pills easier on the digestive tract without having to eat cheese or milk. The price is right for me, and I can choose from several size bottles. Taste: None noticed.

Well, these are large in size but go down with plenty of water! Love this company. Recommend.

Excellent supplement. May not be common knowledge that you need strontium and vanadium along with K2 and D3 to make sure the calcium goes where it needs to go in your body and the fact that this supplement has those ingredients is HUGE. They're easy to swallow, no after taste, no side effects, nada!

Great absorption with minimal side effects--no constipation and easy to swallow. I have been using this calcium for nearly a year and have had an increase in my bone density. I would highly recommend this brand of calcium. However, be aware when you order this product from amazon as many of your calcium will be broken making them harder to swallow or take the correct dosage. I had to go back to picking them up from my local vitamin shoppe even though it cost more. I wish Amazon packaged the product better.

I have done a lot of research on vitamins and nutritional supplements throughout my life trying to be a wise health consumer. However it is shocking to find how many supplements contain several types of fillers + 'chemically' or GM derived ingredients...some being known to be actually dangerously 'unhealthy' for long term consumption. Garden of Life is a quality brand containing raw and organically produced plant based natural ingredients without fillers or chemical additives. Now that I'm nearing 50, so far, I find this Garden of Life formula to be an excellent Calcium combination suitable for my needs. I feel safe taking these knowing they are sourced organically, non~GM plant based instead of from animal bones or from mineral rock. I don't eat animal bones or stones/rock so why would I dare to ingest them daily in pill form for calcium?!? No thanks !! I'll invest in real digestible nutrition from Garden of Life. I received my vitamins fresh, promptly, and well packed. Happy to get better pricing here on Amazon too. These Organic Plant based vitamins are worth the investment. My experience on arrival: PROS - arrived sooner than expected - can be crushed easily (I have a fear of swallowing capsules/large pills) - taste is not noticeable in water/juice - expiration date is long lasting CONS - jar is more than half empty (pro- but still includes the intended/specified amount; the jar is too big) - full serving size is in 3 pills, not one (if you want a small amount each day, 1 pill is enough) Update (8/21): - nails are more thicker (they use to be bendy and see through) - less dental pain (I use to drink raw milk, but did not get enough vitamins and minerals; also used vitamin C supplements - same brand)

I really like the features of this supplement. The plant-based calcium is something I really value. Not to mention, the tablets are easy to digest, a major plus for me. Another winning point is that it's organic. A fantastic product for overall bone health, teeth and joint support. Highly recommended!

the seal was broken like someone opened and returned before. However its tastes and looks genuine ( I had another piece from before and compared it). Garden of life is one of the best brand I trust
