This is a very nice hood. It has a wide base and folding the hood into the proper configuration--which can be tricky sometimes--was simple in this case. The hood has a loop for attachment to the inside of front of the robe to hold it in place. The material feels like it is a good quality and is substantial, and it arrived quickly.

Fantastic value for the money. Purchased so I could finally have my JD stole to wear for services of the church Offices - eg Evensong. Yes, some will say it's super pretentious but I just think it adds - literally and figuratively - color to the service and hearkens back to Cranmer and how they were figuring out how protestant things would be.

I purchased this because I didn't want tp spend hundreds of dollars! It is well made. It looked like my colleagues, if not better!

It looks good. I have no complaints. Even at 5'4", it's a pretty good fit and doesn't look overwhelming me.

The hood is well made and looks beautiful. Good value.
