The harder the wheel (the higher the number rating), the less grip you have. These skate wheels are low quality. I bought Radar wheels to replace them (78a hardness https://www.amazon.com/Radar-Wheels-Donut-Roller-Skate/dp/B075NQ66SM) They give a much better grip on the road/sidewalk. You can also replace the bearings to ABCE 7s for about $20. Better bearings=longer glide. I change my wheels for indoor use. I love the sake itself and both my son and I have them. They've been used for 3 years now. **Q: Looking for the best outdoor skates, wheels, and toe stop barely off of road** A: The Bullet is designed more for indoor use. But you could buy outdoor wheels to put on them (Aerobic or Motion are both popular) and then use these outdoors.
