Q: Would this work for a small rip on a Rab goose down filled coat?

Yes - As long as it's not a hole you'll have to put a small piece of fabric on top of the filling and under the rip (the piece of fabric must be a little bigger than the rip.) The repair powder is sprinkled on the piece of fabric underneath the rip , then you have to put greaseproof paper on top and use a hot iron to 'melt' the powder under the rip. I've used this powder for years and I think it's brilliant.

Q: Can you repair white net curtains with this product and is the product white in colour

YES YES YES. Many people use Supermend to invisibly repair rips from "cat climbing" hamster climbing, rabbit gnawing and assorts. You WILL need a backing patch. Homemade is best from.... another scrap piece of net curtaining or ballet tutu netting. White stockings or tights. The trick is to use something that does not show through. So test a few samples out by placing them on the back of your curtain to see what you are happy with. Then the rest is easy.... You just need to sprinkle a few granules of supermend on to the damaged area and bond with a regular domestic iron. Supermend dries to a transparent finish so it will be invisible. Remember to use 2 or 3 sheets of greaseproof paper on the top of your work so that the paper takes the heat and not the curtain. Job done. We have used Supermend to repair wedding dresses, ripped veils, saris, silk dresses , vintage clothing and all kinds of things. Remember all your repairs can also be washed boiled and sent to the dry cleaners too.
