For a cockatiel
We just tried this for the first time today so I can on review from a first use and with a cockatiel. The harness is really stretchy and I had no issues getting it on my bird birds head and wings but she kept grabbing the lower part of the harness with her feet and it took about 5 minutes to get her feet out long enough to tighten it up enough so she couldn’t grab it again. She is friendly but not handled a ton. She is 3 years old and was hatched in my house so she is very familiar with me and she doesn’t bite. I think this would be extremely difficult to get on a bird who bites when it doesn’t like something. As far as comfortability, it seems fine, my cockatiel hates it and hasn’t stopped picking at it but hasn’t done any damage and I’m sure in time she will adjust. Now for the most important part. She is fully feathered and she did spook and take off and this was perfect. The bounce back in the leash is very soft and allows you to reel your bird in while they fly without any jerking or abrupt movements at all. I was actually really impressed. I wouldn’t use this on any kind of large or medium parrots who did not have their wings clipped, not even small conures. The material is something that my African grey or cockatoo could easily be through within a couple minutes. If you were out and about even with a Senegal I feel they could eventually chew through this. But any smaller birds who aren’t known for aggressive chewing and who are easily handled I think this is great! Especially for the price.

Super soft and gentle fabric for feathers
I have tried different leashes for birds and this one by far is super soft, well made, my bird seems comfortable and took her two days to get used to it. I have a small green cheek conure and fits her so perfect. I totally recommend this.

Fits nice, but gets loose with movement
I bought and tried 2 different sizes for my 63g GCC, this one and the size smaller, the material is super nice. Seems just stretchy enough to be gentle on the feathers while being secure. HOWEVER, the sliding buckle you use to tighten/loosen the harness gets loose while on the bird while its moving around. I have to check and re tighten it periodically. I'm too afraid my bird will get loose, so I just use this indoors for harness training now. The long teather is nice though. 7/10.

Smells like chemicals
Very cheap quality and my quaker is deathly and aggressively afraid of it. Smells like chemicals

It works like its supposed to
So far its worked well. My only concern is that im not too sure what to do with the excess it leaves whenever i tighten it(shown in picture) i kinda just stick it through a hoop and loop it but its still super big. I really had to tighten it a lot so there was a lot of excess but its not that big of a problem i guess. My tiel kinda freaked out when we first took him outside and started flying crazy but the harness did its job even with all the tugging it still stayed on. Dont worry hes safe something just spooked him lol

best we have tried, and theres been a lot!
so we tried other "big name" harnesses. we found the neck holes too small, and also rigid. the leather ones never fit right. this was my 5th harness i bought for my black capped conure. i love the material is stretchy like a bra strap! this means the neck hole can be stretched a bit -OR- if you bird freaks out unexpectedly they wont be choked like the other harness did (we had to cut that one off!). so i started all over with harness training and it is going well so far. it can take weeks or months if you aren't just forcing it onto your bird and thats normal. i look forward to using it in the future, but for now i'm just here to say i'm happy with the design. i also love that the least is detachable, which makes things much easier while training.
