I bought this bag specifically for traveling int'l & keeping my passport/money close to me. It works great for that. I only have two cons to this bag. I wish it had been just a tad bit bigger even by a couple of inches wider. The other con is the outside pocket that snaps does pop open once in a while so I watch what I put in that pocket [normally just hair scrunchy or such so if I lose it no big deal]. Now the Pros far outweigh any cons above. The exterior back zipper compartment that would rest against your body is perfect for a passport! I carry my passport & other cards in a leather case which fits perfectly into that zipper! Another pro is all the zipper compartments on the exterior. Small one in front is perfect for keys, Middle one I use for folded papers or such. The main compartment of bag zips wide open so you can get down into your bag. The bag is big enough on the inside to comfortably carry eyeglass case, phone in case, wallet if you carry one? I've carried my battery charger in that area as well as there is an interior charging cord that you could use to charge your phone while using or carrying in bag. There are also two pockets [one zips on one side/the other pocket is open] on the inside great for small items such as pens, lipstick, lip balm, any small objects. All in all the bag is sturdy & the brown leather I purchased has a great look to it. The body strap is wide & strong & very adjustable.

so my mother, who has restricted movement and dexterity in her left hand needed a new and more fashionable bag and wanted a sling style. after packing it up with stuff to go visit my sister for the weekend, things like and ipad, books, wallet and her medicines; she give me a text the next monday raving about how awesome and useful this is. she likes the look, it’s easy for her to get stuff out of for her (remember the restricted dexterity part?). all in all a win! i use sling style bags all the time and they are not just for the gym or for school kinds day trips. try one- i think it might change how you move about when you don’t need to to carry everything you own.

Bought from AW to give an item a second life. 1st day review: Bag leather looks and feels good. Zippers are smooth. Small for a daypack but still able to carry all necessities. Don’t understand the people who thought this bag would provide power via charge port without attaching a charger block. It tells you that the power block is not included. The strap adjustment does seem a little loose and I can see that slipping down with use. Have been looking at potential fixes for that. Oh and this used item came with some extras, though not as fun as the person who got a passport in their bag. Mine came with 5 coasters for The Fleur Room and black cocktail napkins, apparently is a bar/lounge in NY. But mine was used and discounted price due to being used, so I wasn’t upset. Certainly worth the discounted price for a genuine leather bag. Wil update after having a chance to use it a little bit. So far very pleased and would purchase again!

I bought this sling bag to use on our 30th Anniversary trip to New Orleans. I was looking for a bag that was small & low-profile, comfortable to carry, would hold the essentials and be pick-pocket resistant. This bag delivered! In one movement I could switch from my back to my side or my front with ease, making walking around the city and traveling street cars very easy. This sling bag will be a constant companion for all my day trips and vacations with my wife from now on. Prof A

Overall I really enjoy this bag. It has lots of space, not too bulky and all of the pockets that I need. I like the pocket in the back and the front pocket with the magnetic clasp holds things well. If I tip the bag upside down, the contents normally stay inside the bag. I have two complaints. The that the metal clasp and its female are off center and I need to tuck the flap a bit to get it to fit inside, so it isn't placed properly and the leather sticks out a bit for it to fit together. Secondly, the very front small pocket has the zipper up and they are very easy to move, so I cannot put valuables in there safely as gravity constantly pulls the zipper down. It gets rubbed on stuff sometimes so that doesn't help. I really love this bag and I've been searching for something like this for a while now and have gone through over 7 or 8 years of consistently wearing a side bag everyday. I tried out 4 or 5 bags before I found this one and I'm finally happy with it.

Leather should make it get better with age

Better that expected. It's real leather. It comes with a certificate of 100% leather. I love how the pockets are divided. One on the back, and 4 more on the front. 100% recommended.
