Men's Phantoms Flip Flops

I recently grabbed a pair of Reef Men's Phantoms Flip Flops in Black/Tan (size 11 US), and I have to say, they're quickly becoming my favorite sandals. Whether I'm cruising around town on a casual day or kicking back at the beach, these Reefs are the perfect choice. First thing that struck me about the Phantoms was just how comfortable they are. Footbed is incredibly soft and supportive, thanks to the anatomical arch technology. It feels almost like I'm walking barefoot, but with the added benefit of some nice cushioning. Unlike some flip flops that feel flimsy and can flop around, the Phantoms have a nice, secure fit. Straps hug my feet comfortably without digging in, and the outsole provides good grip on a variety of surfaces. Whether I'm walking on pavement, sand, or even around water I feel confident and grounded in these sandals. Let's not forget about style! The black and tan colorway is versatile and goes with pretty much anything I wear, from shorts and a t-shirt to swim trunks. Design is sleek and modern, making them a step above your basic flip flop. Overall, I'm super impressed with the Reef Phantoms. They're comfortable, secure, stylish, and give that great grounded barefoot feel. Excellent sandals. My husband loves the bottle opener on the bottom of the sandals. It's his favorite part of the sandal. The color was great, well made overall. I will note that this partuclar style from REEF is heavy, it drives me nuts that my husband grips his toes when whe wears these sandals, but he loves them because of that darn bottle opener. So Id' say walk ability is maybe 3/5 for that reason. These aren't super cushioning, but more of a firm rubber with minimal arch support. Tons of color options. If you are looking for a men's sandal with style, this is it. If you need arch support, you won't like these sandals, and if you are sensitive to heavier shoes, don't buy these because they are a heavier sandal.

These sandals are fine. They look great. So if looks are priority, you will be pleased. They are slightly smaller for their size than other footwear which makes them slightly harder to put on but also ensures they are not going to fall off. I have owned a few pairs of Reef sandals over the years and they used to be more comfortable and more durable. The footbed is aggressivley textured which again makes these hold on the foot better but takes away from comfort. They feel like there is zero cushioning with these sandals which is my biggest complaint. Also the toe post will undoubtedly break out within one season. Therefore, they are fine overall, look great, but are a little over priced for what you get.

Reefs have always been the flip flop sandal I've worn since I was a teen. Of course they are great for when you're in Hawaii or trekking around on hot days. I will say my last pair before these Phantoms wore a little crooked on the right foot only. They were the "Rovers" style and a size 9 which fit flush. I generally don't have any major walking issues to push the heel out of center. In the photo you can see that the heel indentation of the Rover model right sandal is pretty far left of center. Was it because they were Rovers or was something not to spec, or once the indentation started off center there was no escape? So I ordered these Reef Phantoms and went one size up for a little extra room. I've been wearing them everyday in summer for a month and half now and the right foot heel indentation is right in the center as it should be. The extra space around the foot with the larger size feels nice and safer from getting bumps or dings. About ready to order another pair so I'll be ready for next summer as I'm wearing through these at a moderate pace. They are as well built as any pair I've owned. No problems with anything quality-wise aside from the little white sizing sticker falling off, they never stay on. No imbalance issues, the tread is nice as dirt and rocks don't get stuck in any of the shallow grooves. Good grip, comfortable fit, no squeeks or dirty floor marks. Good sandal.

Reef always makes good product. Very good cushion and does have a decent arch support!

These are regular Phantom (not Phantom 2.0). I've had these for about 9 months now. At first I thought that the course footbed would be an issue, but it is really not a problem. They fit perfectly ... easy on, good snugness but not too tight, just right arch support and comfy but not mushy. I tried the 2.0 version which is quite different ... the footbed was slippy and somewhat too wide ... I returned these. My size is mens 10.

Ottima ciabatta confortevole, pianta anatomica e non piatta, materiale plastico superiore alla media che non si deforma. Io le ho prese in quanto ammortizzano molto bene il tallone

Would recommend

I needed one size larger than I expected, but current size has good length and width - and my feet are too wide for most footwear. Area for toes is quite long, which suits my feet well. Walks fine, also on longer distances.
