Fresh, dry but not hard and are great tasting. I include these dates in my homemade trail mixes, oatmeal cookies, and just midnight snacks among other goodies.

These are great for making date-nut bread. No seeds and pre-cut. Just measure and pour into your batter. And munch on few while the bread is baking!

Bought these to make protein bars. Whole dates were too difficult for my food processor to grind up, so I thought I would give these a try. First attempt was a failure as my processor couldn't grind these pieces up either. Second attempt I soaked them first and left them too long in the soak. Bars were too soggy. I think they will work with a lesser soak. The pieces themselves are OK. No pits or pieces in them and the flavor is good.

I love date nut bran muffins. I make them with molasses, use coffee for the liquid, use vanilla. I use loads of chopped nuts and dates. These are superb: flavorful and sweet. I was frustrated making muffins with the pitted dates I could find in local grocery stores: a sticky mess that was hard to chop and hard to separate in the batter. These are perfect!I also enjoy them sprinkled over peanut butter in lieu of jam or jelly in a sandwich. (I keep a loaf of bread , a jar of peanut butter, a small container of chopped dates in my desk drawer for days when I end up eating lunch at my desk.) I will definitely order them again!
