From the Publisher Review: Excellent writing! Grandkids wanted it read aloud over and over! - This book has loads of funny events that make kids ( and adults!) think! Review: awesome book! - I had a great time reading these books. They made me laugh and made me wonder if I could do the things they describe. Miss Zaynes is someone I’d like to learn more about.

Love this series
I read these as a kid and now my 8yr old loves reading the humorous stories as well. The stories are short and sweet. Great for bedtime and kids love all the classroom humor.

As good as I remember
I bought this to read with my 3rd grader who has struggled with reading / comprehension and generally is reluctant to read anything. I had loved this as a child. I talked it up and we dived in together, taking turns reading pages. My plan was for us to read a chapter a day together. Well, he's asked to read at least one to two additional chapters every day because he's enjoying the stories so much and we're almost finished. They're funny enough to get him laughing out loud at points, comprehensible (his estimated lexile level is 420), and he can relate to so many of the characters, as ridiculous as they might seem. He's already asked for the next in the series when we finish this one.
