Carhartt Gear CHB291 Carbondale Antique Mirror Polarized Lens - One Size Fits All - Black

This is my 2nd pair of Carhartt sunglasses and I highly recommend them! Very sturdy and serve the purpose especially when driving in the sun. Reasonably priced and comfortable to wear!

These Carhartt Carbondale glasses are solid! They fit comfortably and offer excellent protection—perfect for job sites or any task where eye safety matters. The lenses are clear, durable, and do a great job shielding your eyes from debris and dust.

These are excellent. I saw them recommended on a YouTube channel that blasted them pretty good. They look nice and the shaded lenses are dark enough for sunny days, but not so dark that you can’t see on a cloudy day. These were my favorite until I found Nocry, which seem much nicer and don’t fog.

I'm not in an occupation where I need safety glasses, I wear them around the yard and have decided to wear them more on trip since they are so cheap, comfortable, durable and the clarity honestly rivals my Oakleys, which I don't wear in the yard, and have lost at least one pair on vacation. I have put shrink tubes on one pair to make them all black. lol

I would have liked these sunglasses had it not been for the foggy view. I'd like to point out that I returned these glasses because the right eye had a smudge directly in my view right out of the bag (no box, comes encased in a bag and shipped in a bubble envelope) and as the intended usage was for gun sporting; that would be an issue. But I honestly disliked the foggy lens right out of the . . . . . (you guessed it, BAG.) and no matter any attempt of cleaning, it was obvious that was a trait of the lens itself and not just coincidentally dirty lens. I know better than to expect glass quality clarity, but this fog was way more than plastic clarity issue. Pros, they look nice and fit well under EarPro & are very lite. Cons; Very Foggy lens poor clarity

In these days of mask wearing, having glasses that don't fog up are a priority. Been using the normal version for quite a while, but after masks came to be standard attire, I spent the extra couple of bucks for anti-fog coating. One downside is that the coating will scratch easier, but it's worth it to be able to see.

These glasses look really good! My job requires me to be in a plant every day for 12-15 hour days at a time. I wanted something that was very comfortable and safety rated. In addition these had the gray lenses, which reduced my eyestrain when I have to spend most of my day staring at my computer screen. They don't look like typical safety glasses, with the frames that go all away around the lenses, so they definitely look unique. A lot of people will mistaken them for sunglasses, which they can also be used for since they are 100% UVA/UVB protected. Think of them as an all in one type glasses you can use at a job site, shooting range, or just sunglasses you wear on your daily commute. The only thing keeping them from 5/5 stars is that the gray lenses are a few shades darker then gray lenses I am typically used to. A lot of job sites will not allow you to wear safety eyewear without your eyes being visible. So unfortunately, I was only able to wear these at the job site I was at for a few days before being told to get lighter lenses. So if Carhartt can provide to me lighter gray lenses I would gladly boost this up to a 5!
