High quality. Great value. Compact. High temperature. No issues at all.
This is the best soldering machine I have ever used. The temperature climbs within seconds and it works great. Well built, dependable, and compact. It does the job very, very well. No issues.

Fantastic soldering experience
I was trying to decide between this unit and a Weller. I chose this one because of the great reviews and cheaper price tag. I have really enjoyed using this soldering station. It heats up quickly, the temperature control is spot on and it functions extremely well. I like the separate solder holder from the base unit and the brass wool pot holds solidly in the holder. The cord length is just right and allows for plenty of movement without dragging it around and knocking things over. I have been very happy with this unit

YIHUA STATION MET ALL EXPECTATIONS, YOU WONT REGRET BUYING THIS ONE - VERY PLEASED.
Im -VERY- pleased with this Yihua soldering station. External & internal build quality along with performance are excellent for this price range, both cords seem good quality, (heavy) transformer puts out good power and I really appreciate the simplicity of the temperature control for the attractive blue digital display and activity LED, no complicated NASA menu to navigate just a dial control for temperature, a simple button to select C* and F* on the fly and a calibration option if needed, which I didnt need to touch - heating time is reasonably fast from cold and the iron seems to recover well during use with the basic testing I gave it before this review. Even the quality of the factory tips is much better than usual aftermarket ones of same type. Tip walls are thicker & plating seems better and it shows in the heating and recovery performance. The only negatives I can come up with is I wish the base units fuse was externally accessible, its internal with the power switch and requires soldering to replace - and the base unit needs to have grippy rubber feet like the irons stand does so it wont slide around on hard surfaces, also I wish the cord on the iron was a foot longer, but these are just my opinions. I like that the iron stand is metal with non-skid feet and comes with a tip cleaning fixture containing a (REAL BRASS) mesh ball and rosin flux tip cleaning solution in the bottom, brass is the only and (correct) mesh material for a tip cleaner as its a soft metal and wont damage the tip plating - cheaper ones are made from either copper or worse yet flash plated steel meant to look like brass, a magnet will tell you which as brass is not attracted to a magnet. Overall im still very pleased, I got the green and black "20th anniversary" edition just for the added color instead of just another black box on the table, the green case looks great with the black brushed aluminum face plate. It would be hard to do much better for the price far as performance and build quality, Yihua quality and performance have come a long way in the last few years and the attention to engineering detail shows in the products performance, build quality and value. There many options in this price range and some are also pretty good, but Yihua has obviously worked to make a good name for itself in the best ways possible - by paying attention to the most important areas - product quality, performance, continued improvement, value and im guessing they also listen to customers comments and reviews, if so it shows. Based on my initial experience this product is a solid performer, as always time will tell on longevity but ive found nothing in my examination of build quality to say it wont last a good long time and one last important thing - Yihua has very good parts availabilty, many do not. You will be hard pressed to go wrong buying this one, its a winner.

For a first soldering station im extremely pleased
The quality is the first thing i noticed. It definitely is a little heavier than youd think looking at it. Which i like. Im a simple man, I associate weight with quality. Maybe thats why im such a high quality guy. Anyways The iron itself worked and heated very quickly the temp control worked very well with 330c being the sweet spot for my skill level. It melted lead free solder perfectly and i assume will work even better with rosin core. The added accessories like tweezer and iron cleaner are good quality too. Overall a very nice product for what you pay for. I cant comment on temp accuracy so at the end of the day you set it to an arbitrary number that works for you. Does it get hot yes, can i makenit hot enough to melt solder quickly, definitely, can i control the heat, yes. So thats all i care about here. Time will tell if it remains a reliable device over time i am happy they sell replacement irons on amazon in case something happens and one reviewer said it will take Hakko tips, that im not sure of but nice if true. All around great unit for the money its worth taking a chance on

High Quality; Heats Up Fast; Affordable; You Can't Go Wrong
I have purchased 4 of these Yihua 939D+ soldering stations as of now. One for my personal use and three for a local maker space. They are all well-built, easy to use soldering stations. They heat up fast and hold heat well. They use easy to obtain 900 M style soldering tips. The metal soldering iron holder is great. It comes with a can that has a brass wool ball and rosin in it. Keeps the tip nice and clean. The knob makes adjusting the temperature a snap. The simple button on the front panel to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius is convenient. The price point is only about $10 to $15 above the price of the cheap soldering stations while the quality is much higher. The difference in price (about the cost of two cups of coffee or a meal at a fast food restaurant) is well worth it.

Perfectly Designed and Functional!
I've been using a much older soldering station for a long time. This new station is a significant technological upgrade. I really love this soldering station. It has the control module and the iron holder separated, allowing me to keep the control module in one spot on my workbench while placing the iron holder where I need it. The iron heats up to temperature very quickly. It feels very comfortable in my hand. I also love that there is a quick disconnect cable to the iron, so if I need to change the iron, it will be easier to do so. This is a perfectly designed and functional product.

Just what I needed
Great soldering iron. Works great

It's good but could use more heat
It's pretty good unit for small stuff but if you're doing 10 gauge wire for say an RC car it's a little lacking, but it will do it if you're skilled enough

I can’t believe I spent so much money on this product thinking it would be fine. I don’t recommend this, don’t buy it. It looks premium but performance wise terrible. It stopped working after my return window closed so i can’t even get a refund.

As advertised, this soldering station is heavy, similar to my old Weller that just died after 30 years. It works well. I like the way the LED blinks when it's heating up and solid when it reached the set temperature, you quickly know when it's ready. The only drawback is you can't store the bits in the holes provided in the iron stand. They'll fall off. I wanted to enlarge the holes but the bits don't have flange, so it won't work anyway.

This has a US electrical supply only 110 Volts 60Hz not suitable for use in the UK. Not just a case of changing the plug unfortunately. Very disappointing as bought as a Christmas present. The power supply rating was not in the product description so expected that as it was sold on Amazon UK that it would be compatible with UK electrical systems. The product information omitted the voltage and Hertz rating. Given 1 star because of the fact that we were unable to test it because of the voltage issue.

The plug fitted is a US plug. Not a simple case of changing the plug as the input AC voltage is 110v and not 230v as in the UK. Why the seller is sending these out to the UK is beyond me. Completely useless here.
