Robust/Compact/inexpensive.
The SonicWall TZ270W is an impressive firewall solution that has significantly enhanced the security and performance of my small business network. Setting up the TZ270W was straightforward, thanks to the intuitive interface and comprehensive setup guide.

Worth the Effort
My old router was hacked twice so it was time to step up to a small business router like the Sonicwall. Setting it up takes a little more effort and time, but the payback is higher security and flexibility. I was able to set up separate zones with different policies to tighten the security of my network. For me, it was worth the extra effort.

Do not bother with this. It will cause more frustration than it is worth
Purchased the unit in July 2024 the return date expired in August. The unit restarts on its own at random times. I upgraded to the latest version of code, and it continues to randomly reload. Two days ago, I opened an online support case and uploaded a half dozen files they requested. It is now 30 hours since upload. I did a follow up query on the portal and sent a follow up email. Absolutely no response. SOOO now I am looking at other firewall manufactures. Since I cannot return this unit (too late) I will take it to the shooting range for practice.

I did not know or never expect to SonicWall sales policy to sell their products to end user customers. I purchased a TZ270W for my home internet security. I registered the product and connected to my modem and my computer. I found no Wifi and no Lan connections with my modem. I could not use internet with this TZ270W. I thought there are something to configure it. I loged in the TZ270W but no manual and no help at all to set it up. Finally, I contacted the technical service team of Sonicwall, they said I need purchase service contract to use the device. I do not get it. I do not understand. It seems to be a little bit costy to end users or general customers. I do not look for this company's product any more.It is $360.
