This is really good stuff. And with all things, I always test it out myself. If it is good enough for them, it's good enough for me. After taking a taste I no longer wondered why my babies like it. It has an earthy flavor with a very smooth taste. It's hard to describe, but I guess whey protein is the closest human supplement you could compare it to. But it's not as sweet. I take this and mix it with their alfalfa and mash and they horse it down. Pun intended. No one has had a stomach ache or reacted badly to it, and in the little bit I've been using it I have noticed that the two foals getting it have a smoother and shinier coat already, even compared to the yearlings. Of course it's winter, but we have gotten some warm weather and they're shedding. Definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a good quality protein and fat supplement for their growing foals.

This time of year, horses look pretty ratty. I've noticed after feeding this supplement for a week their coats are looking a bit nicer. I mix it in with their normal feed rations and no one gives it a second thought. They eat it right up! It doesn't have a strong or unpleasant smell that might put a finicky horse off. I have not noticed any adverse effects like loose stools or other issues to indicate a problem with digestibility. So far, this seems like a good product.
