It costs more by about 2000-2500 if bought "assembled" at a cycle store.Items: The pack lacks a bell and lock (essential), which I had to purchase separately for Rs.150/- each. Front, back mudguards if necessary have to be bought separately. The pack contains three tools, but I saw that successful assembly requires many more specialized tools (especially those for tightening, aligning spokes, rim) that are available only in a proper cycle sale, advanced repair shop.Assembly time: An experienced cycle fitter took about an hour full-time to complete the assembly.Assembly: Please note that the box has it printed that it should be assembled by an experienced cycle fitter/professional. I first approached a nearby cycle repair shop and he said that he would do it in Rs.200/-. When I received the cycle, he was not available and I contacted another cycle repair, sale shop. He mentioned that he would charge Rs.700/- for assembly, but since I was the first customer of the day eventually agreed to it for Rs.500/-. He said that general cycle "repair" people do not know all the tasks for successful assembly and since he also runs a cycle "sale" shop, he has been assembling these kits and so knows the amount of work involved in the setup of a functional cycle that does not need work again and again for newer issues. I feel that the work involved not just the assembly of received components, but many adjustments which are difficult for an inexperienced person. The major task was removing the tyre, tube from both wheels and tightening, adjusting, aligning the spokes of both wheels because the spokes are loosened by the company during transport. This is to ensure that the wheel is not "out". If this is not done and items just assembled, the brakes do not work well, the rim can get bent and so on. I knew I wasnt going to use it regularly, so it made sense. But, that was such a big mistake. This is a substandard product that TI (Hercules) is selling. Every part is so flimsy and after using it a few times, it is falling apart. The worst part is the paid assembly service that Amazon provides. That is a big scam. They send people who have no clue. He did such a bad job at assembling that it was unusable. I had to take it to local cycle repair shop and get it fixed the very next day. The price of this cycle may tempt you to buy, but please dont make the mistake.
