Pretty decent machine
UPDATE: I'm changing my review from 4 stars to 5 after receiving the new oven and using it nearly daily for about a year now. This is a really great oven. It has so many functions and uses it's crazy. We rarely have a home cooked meal snack or dessert anymore that doesn't include something cooked in this thing. My previous review remains valid as well. So I'll start off by saying that the ovens touch screen malfunctioned right away. Just a few days after getting it new. It was behaving as if someone was repeatedly touching it and changing it's own settings. Changing itself from F° to C°, the rotate function would repeatedly cycle on and off, and it would constantly switch between "preheating" and "cooking". At first the malfunction was intermittent, and wasn't causing a serious issue with cooking the food. I ignored it hoping it would possibly go away on its own; but a few weeks later it had gotten progressively worse to the point that it wouldn't stay in "cooking" mode long enough to complete a meal. I contacted customer support and after providing my proof of purchase, and a short video of the machine malfunctioning, they voluntarily sent a replacement. I haven't received it yet, but will be updating this review once I have a chance to try it out. Now..... Onto the rest of the product review. I think this is a great little oven. It has a bit of a learning curve as far as what temperature to set it at for what foods; but other than a few scorched egdes and a couple of pizzas that had to go back in, it's been pretty amazing. Like any other oven, many factors have to be considered when setting their temperatures, and every oven varies. This one seems consistent. Something baked at 350 will always bake at 350. Something that burns at 275 will always burn at 275. Over all I am very pleased with this oven. If the new one has a better quality touch screen, I will be 100% happy.

Easily the best air fryer I've ever had.
It's a little different from other toaster-oven-style air fryers. It operates much in the way an Instant Pot does - there's a preheat function that you really can't get around. If you set the unit for 10 minutes at 400f, for example, the 10 minute timer won't start until the unit reaches 400f, which for me has been anywhere from 3 to 6 minutes. You'll need to sort of adjust your timing and temperatures to accommodate for that. Most air fryer cooking instructions don't account for that preheating time. The interior space is awesome! I can fit a standard pie plate or 9x9 baking dish with room to spare, it perfectly roasts 3-5 servings of potatoes/veggies in under 15 minutes! Perfectly! Certain bready things like frozen pizza have dried out for me using the air fry function, just switch to bake and cycle the settings (by pressing the knob, temp, time, etc.) until the "convection on/off" light flashes, and turn it off. The other functions work great as well, it's become the main cooking appliance in my house. A note on the beeping, it beeps LOUD for everything. I discovered how to turn it off though, and it's not in the instructions (that I could find). Press and hold the knob button button until "off" is displayed, and it won't beep anymore. That means it won't beep for turning over or finishing cooking either, but it's a small price to pay in my opinion. So yes, a little trial and error is needed, but it's easily the best air fryer I've ever had. 9.5/10, only because of the beeping issue and the weird timer issue.

Partially DOA
So this was on sale and is roughly the size of our old toaster oven, but this one has the air fry heat coil as well as the quartz heaters, our old air fry oven did not have the heat coil and it really didn’t air fry at all, it was mostly just a convection oven. We have a nuwave small air fryer that actually air fries but the portion size is not big enough for my family. We thought we would give this Instant Omni Pro air fry oven a try since we had such good luck with our instant pot. Unfortunately, you can’t set the time or the temperature for any of the settings. I did a lot of research on this unit and found the only negative comments were chickens falling off the rotisserie when the drip pan is installed and it was that some people were having a problem with the touch control, which is exactly what I was having problem with as well. The thing with the rotisserie chicken is that you can’t use the drip pan, if you look at the videos on this product roasting a chicken on their website the drip pan is not in the unit. I did see another video on YouTube that shows people putting foil over the bottom elements as they don’t turn on during rotisserie cooking to keep splatter off of them (good idea). We were planning mostly to use the rotisserie for pork roasts (yum) as rotisserie chickens at Costco are really cheap and taste really good, if they could just lower the salt content a little it would be perfect. Anyway, I was unable to adjust the temperature or time no matter which mode or setting I was in we tried all kinds of things like texting the manufacturer, which was a royal pain just to find out that holding down cancel resets the oven but I don’t think it’s really resetting maybe it just resets the stored presets, but it doesn’t help with the touchscreen problem at all. Amazon does not allow for replacements on this item, but you can return it which is what we’re doing and I just bought another one to give it another go (hopefully with better luck this time). Thank goodness it was still on sale. I have a good feeling that this unit is on sale because of all the problems they are having with chickens and most of the people online say they have to get another unit from the factory to correct the touch screen problem. Let’s hope the next unit doesn’t have the same problem or it’s going back as well and will try a different brand like shark ninja. I know that instant and Shark Ninja both have UL listed appliances which is very important to me and my family for safety, especially with something like this. The only downside to this oven is that I wish it would heat to 500° for better searing steaks instead of limiting it to 450°, but most hot air fryers only go to 400° anyway and we can still use the kitchen oven for searing. If the second unit works like it, should I will update this review. update 02/25: I did receive another unit after returning the first one. The second one seemed to work fine, although the touch buttons were a little finicky and after about a month, the display brightness of the segments were all different brightness, but it still worked. It actually worked very well and we loved it for reheating food. It was perfect every time but today when I was reheating some garlic knots the unit started randomly beeping and flashing the count down time (which was no longer counting down and stuck on six minutes) and also different parts of the display were flashing and the heater didn’t turn off. None of the buttons were responsive, and I was not even able to cancel the program. I had to unplug the unit to get it to shut off and when I plugged it back in it had the same behavior as soon as I tried to start any program for cooking, obviously the micro processor or something inside is now fried. I can’t believe that a modern appliance only lasts just over a year and you have to replace it again when you spent nearly $350 on it. I will never buy another instant product again!

I purchased this for $250 CAD, which was not a sale price but much lower than the price on Instant's website at the time, which was $250 USD. The oven is quite large on the outside, about the size of a typical microwave but taller (roughly 16 inches W x 14" H x 14" D). The manual says you should leave 5 inches of clearance above the unit, which I think should not be ignored since it does throw out quite a bit of heat from the top. I have been very pleased with customer support. I didn't find the rotisserie spit in the box, which could be my own carelessness, not sure. They immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I've been waiting until it arrived to make this review because I was curious to see how the rotisserie function worked. I was able to rotisserie a 1.5 kg chicken with no issues, and the result was incredible. Cleanup is a bit annoying since it can be hard to wipe down some of the inside parts near the elements. Overall very impressed. Other functions also work very well. The biggest concerns are 1) it always spends the same ~5 minutes preheating when you start it up, and you will have to re-"start it up" if you want to change any of the settings, such as temperature, cooking time, or function, after you started it initially. This makes it hard if you're working with a vague recipe with an uncertain amount of time. 2) the toast function releases a little bit of smoke when you open it up, which can be alarming. Very happy with my purchase. It has replaced my regular oven for most things. I would note that while a 12" pizza will just barely fit inside, a pizza stone for that size will just barely not fit.

I had an 8 year old table top Moulinex convection oven that was getting long in the tooth and wasting energy due to poor insulation. This beauty has a reasonably well sealed door and works much faster than I expected. Be careful the first few times you use this oven as the cooking times will surprise you. Using it is quite straight forward and the display is excellent. As I am a hands on cook I seldom use presets with my appliances so I can't really comment on that but the operation and quality of the end result is well worth the cost of this little guy. I got mine on a deal for about $300 but knowing how well this works I would pay more than that today. Air-frying is really fast - you must be careful as you can easily cremate food before you expect it. BTW - the best hot dog next to deep fried can be made with this product - in much less time than you would expect. Cleaning it isn't all that easy, but I've found that cranking it up on air fry will get rid of most of the interior build-up. The Instant people provide recipes and support and the operation of the oven is easy-peasy . . . as long as you RTFB. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - and my power bill has gone down $15 a month as I almost never use my full size oven any longer.

This is a good little combo oven - use it for everything that the regular size oven cooked!

Love this , it works great! However the silver rack that’s supposed to hold a pot or something like that is a bit too small so as soon as you put something on it, either one or both sides fall off of the ledges it rests on.
